    Not counting couples:
Chandler/Joey--So sweet they were so close it was amazing!
Ross/Phoebe--Comedy factor, they always acted like they didn't like each other but you knew they did really.
Monica/Rachel--Not as good but still good.

I think Rachel & Joey have the best friendship ever. Their friendship never got affected by the fact that he loved her but she didn't. He was always there for her and promised her she "will never ever be left alone". He also offered to marry her when she were pregnant so that she wouldn't be a single mom. He was simply "crazy about her".

Ross and Chanler or Monica and Racheal, Joey and Pheobe knew them only later in life.

Chandler and Joey all the way. I mean if all the hugging wasn't a tip off... just look how quickly they hit it off and were best friends through the end - Monica and Rachel were girlfriends but Rachel hadnt even talked to her since college - remember Monica wasn't invited to the wedding..

Come on, baywatch, the matching barkaloungers, so many episodes that show how they really are BEST BUDS!

I enjoyed the less used friendships, such as:

Pheebs/Ross: How can you not enjoy the mugging, saltwater taffy, Vikrum, and evolution?

    Rachel/Pheebs: TOW where Phoebe Runs!

Rachel/Chandler: The One with the Cheescakes

I always enjoyed the group better when they were all together, or in larger brackets (3 of them and 3 of them, opposed to 2, 2, and 2, so on).

I agree, they also had a good relationship in TOW Monica's boots when Phoebe wants Ross to help her get tickets to Sting's concert. "ROSS CAN!" lol

Yeah, it really was a shame they didn´t had more Rachel/Chandler-stories. I can only think of three (Tow the dollhouse, Tow the 'cuffs and Tow the all the cheesecakes).
