Goof: When Phoebe tells Rachel she wants to keep one of the babies, Rachel's chair is right next to Phoebe's bed. Then the camera angle changes to Phoebe, but you can see Rachel's arms, indicating that she didn't move. However, when the camera goes back to Rachel, her chair is a little far from the bed, so that she has to get up and walk to be next to Phoebe.
Factual Error: When Phoebe's doctor requests the TV be turned on, the Happy Days theme is playing, and the doctor mentions it is the episode where Fonzie plays the bongos. The episode mentioned is "Fonzie Joins the Band" from the second season. However, that Happy Days theme was not used until the series' third season. During the first two seasons of Happy Days the opening theme was "Rock Around the Clock" performed by Bill Haley & His Comets. (Although the DVD release of the second season of Happy Days replaced "Rock Around the Clock" with the Happy Days theme song, it shouldn't air that way in syndication.)
Goof: At the beginning when Phoebe asks someone to call Frank and Alice, and her mom, Ross searches his pockets. But when the camera angle changes, his hands are down by his side.
Goof: When Phoebe asks for a minute alone with the triplets, the camera angle shows a closeup of the babies and the two girl are right next to each other. When the shot changes, the middle baby is positioned much higher.
Factual error: When Joey is in pain, he grabs his back. However, the doctor says that the kidney stones are close to the bladder. His pain would actually be in the groin area.
Trivia: The name of one of Phoebe's doctors is Dr. Oberman. In "The One with the Sonogram at the End" Carol's doctor is also named Dr. Oberman.
Goof: When Frank is on the phone right before Rachel talks to him, he says "And I love YOU" to the person on the other side, in such a way that we assume he's talking to Alice. But then he tells Rachel that it was Alice's mother on the phone. Why would he tell Alice's mother that he loves her in such a way?
Goof: When one of the babies is being born and the camera is facing Phoebe, you can see the baby under the cover before it's born.
Trivia: During the ten seasons of Friends, Lisa Kudrow was the only female cast member to have a child, yet her character of Phoebe was the only female character to not become a mother. And Matt LeBlanc was the only male cast member to have a child, yet his character of Joey was the only male character to not become a father.
Continuity: Phoebe got pregnant in January. Ross's wedding was in May and the birth of the triplets is supposed to be shortly after. So Phoebe's pregnancy stretched no further than January to June, which is only six months.
Goof: In the hospital scene after the last triplet is born, Alice arrives and starts talking with Frank. There are people sitting on the couch on the left side of the screen. Then when they start making out and go onto the couch, there are no people there anymore.
Rachel: Phoebe, you can't keep one of these babies!
Phoebe: Well, you don't know!
Rachel: Yes, I do! Frank and Alice are going to want to keep all of them!
Phoebe: Maybe not. Three kids is a handful, they could be looking to unload one of them. I'd just hate if I didn't get one because I didn't ask!
Rachel: Sweetie, I think it's so great you're having these babies for Frank and Alice.
Phoebe: Can I tell you a secret? I wanna keep one!
Rachel: Oh my God, I'm gonna be on the news!
Rachel: Monica? You're gonna be very proud of me. I just got us dates with two unbelievably cute nurses.
Joey: Oh, my!
Rachel: They're male nurses.
Joey: Not in my head.
Ross: (To Monica & Chandler, who arrived late) Hey, what took you so long? Your cab left when ours did.
Monica: Uh... We had to go back because... I forgot my jacket.
Rachel: But you're not wearing a jacket.
Monica: Oh, man! I did it again!
Phoebe: They're gonna call her Chandler.
Chandler: That's kind of a masculine name, don't you think?
Phoebe: Works on you.
Ross: Relax Phoebe, it's going to be okay.
Phoebe: That's easy for you to say. I don't see three babies coming out of your vagina.
Phoebe: (Having a contraction) Ow! Ow! Ow! (Looks under the blanket) Oh, I was kind of hoping that was it.
Phoebe: (To the babies) I wish I could take you home and see you every day. Okay, I'll settle for being your favorite aunt. I know Alice's sister has a pool, but you lived in me.
Dr. Harad: It's almost time to push again.
Phoebe: I already had a baby, leave me alone!
Frank: (Screaming) Yes! Yes! We got a baby boy! Frank Jr. Jr.!
Rachel: How does he look? How does he look?
Frank: So gross!
Monica: (Holding one of the babies) I think you're my favorite!
Phoebe: Which one do you have?
Monica: I don't care!
Frank Jr: (Frank was supposed to name one of his sons after Chandler) Chandler's a girl!
Chandler: Oh, God, Kindergarten flashback.
Frank Jr: Well, they must have read the sonogram wrong, because they thought it was a boy, but Chandler's a girl! Chandler's a girl!
Chandler: Okay, keep saying it!
Phoebe: (Admitting herself into the hospital) Um, I'm Phoebe Buffay, and I have babies coming out of me.
Frank: Listen, Alice is gonna be here so soon. You couldn't do me a favor and, like, hold 'em in?
Phoebe: Sorry, Frank. I'm kinda in the middle of the last favor you asked me to do.
Phoebe: I don't want that guy in here telling me I'm, you know, dilated-amundo!
TJ Thyneplays the young doctor (actually first year resident), who is belittled by Phoebe for being too young to deliver her baby. Thyne would later play another doctor on TV, as Dr. Jack Hodgins on TV's Bones. Granted, Dr. Hodgins is anentomologist, but still a doctor.

Lisa Kudrow was actually not pregnant in this episode. She had her own baby on May 7, 1998, so at this time her belly was fake.
This is the final appearance of Debra Jo Rupp as Alice Knight. Alice was in 6 episodes of Friends.
Debra Jo's appearance was short and uncredited, which was probably due to her conflicting schedule on the newly produced, at the time, sitcom That 70's Show.
This is Lisa Kudrow's favorite episode.
This episode runs 22:21 on DVD (a typical sitcom runs about 22:00).
In this episode they are numerous references to Happy Days, a TV show about a family and their friend Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzerelli living in America in the 1950s and '60s.
Dr. Harad: And also I love Fonzie.
Chandler: Did he just say he loves Fonzie?
Dr. Harad: Oh, you know, Fonzie dated triplets.
Chandler: This Fonzie person you keep referring to is that another doctor?
Dr. Harad: Oh no, no, no. Fonzie is the nickname of Arthur Fonzerelli. The Fonz.
Ross: To be fair, he doesn't seem to be impersonating Fonzie--
Phoebe: What are you doing? Why are you defending him? Just get me another doctor. One who isn't crazy and one who isn't Fonzie.
Ross: This is Dr. Oberman. He has no strong feelings about Fonzie or any of the Happy Days gang.
Dr. Harad: They have the honor of being born on the Fonz's half-birthday.
Phoebe: Happy birthday.
Dr. Harad: Just to clarify, I'm not Fonzie.
Dr. Harad: Ha ha ha. Oh Fonzie.
Dr. Harad: Fonzie met Mork. Mork froze Fonzie.
Rachel: Yes, but Fonzie was already cool. So he wasn't hurt, right?
Dr. Harad: I need a clamp, a sterile towel, and channel 31.
Phoebe: What is that?
(The theme to Happy Days starts playing)
Phoebe: Oh my God!
Dr. Harad: Oh, no, no, no! It's a good one. Fonzie plays the bongos.
Rachel: You know who I always liked? Mork.
Dr. Harad: Fonzie met Mork. Mork froze Fonzie.
Mork is a character from the TV show Mork & Mindy. Fonzie actually appeared on a show with Mork called The Mork & Mindy/Laverne & Shirley/Fonz Hour.
Phoebe: Shhh! Doogie, shhh!
When Phoebe calls the young resident Doogie, she's referring to the title character of the show Doogie Howser, M.D. which starred Neil Patrick Harris. Doogie was a child prodigy who went to college at age ten and became a doctor when he was still a teenager.
