Continuity: After this episode, the Ms. Pacman game is never seen again. It was suggested that they put it in the guest bedroom, yet it is never seen in there.

Factual Error: NYU does not use bells to start or end classes.

Goof: When Joey and Rachel go out on a date and Rachel leaves to go to the bathroom, she turns left by the bathrooms. When Joey is on a date the next night, they are at the same restaurant. When his date leaves to go to the bathroom, she turns right instead of left.

Goof: When Ross arrives at his class a lot late, he throws his jacket and it lands on the floor. When the camera angle changes, his jacket is on the coat rack.

Goof: When Ross enters his first advanced class, a microphone is visible at the top of the screen.

Goof: When Chandler shows Monica his "claw" from playing the Ms. Pacman game so much, you will notice during the scene that he doesn't hold his hand in the claw shape the whole time.

Continuity: In "The One with Ross's Denial", Chandler and Monica fought over what to do with Rachel's old room. Monica wanted a beautiful guest bedroom and wouldn't even consider Chandler's idea of turning it into a game room and putting in old arcade games like Ms. Pacman. But in this episode Monica is incredibly excited about the present and immediately suggests putting it in the guest bedroom.

Factual Error: The Ms. Pacman arcade consoles did not have a primitive ROM chip, and lost the high score when unplugged.

Factual Error: When the Ms. Pacman game is first plugged in, it goes through a lengthy self-test. It does not play the theme song. The theme song only plays when a new game is started.
