The cliffhanger of this episode seemed way too forced. I felt like the writers forgot a cliffhanger, and just thought one up at the spot to end the season. Not the best of cliffhangers, considering not much could happen. It's obvious that not much is going to happen between Joey & Rachel regarding marriage. So why have a cliffhanger like this? It was forced because oh so conveniently Joey was on his knee when he found Ross' ring. The fact that Rachel actually listened to what Janice said was ridiculous and out of character, the fact that Rachel said yes to Joey's "proposal" was strange as well. So like I said, it felt forced because the characters were pushed to make out of character decisions for shock value.

Phoebe messes things up with a guy. What else is new? But she manages to fix it which could lead to future romance possibilities for next season for Phoebe. Monica & Chandler trying to have a baby, this is the best. Reminded me of the glory days of Monica & Chandler. When I didn't want to rip my hair out every time they had a plot together. That was the case this season, but their plot in this episode was flawless, so maybe next season is better. So what does the future hold? We'll have to wait till the ninth season. Great episode, with a forced cliffhanger.moreless

The one where Rachel has a baby is a fine example of what Friends is. It shows how the friends are so close and there for each other. You could also see how much Rachel and Ross should be together so much. Some other parts in the episode includes Monica and Chandler trying to make a baby in a hospital room. Joey and Phoebe fool a guy so that Phoebe and him could start dating. After Rachel has the baby, her and Ross still don't know what to name her so she takes Monica's name for her future baby. Great episode! After 21 hours Rachel finally gives birth. Ross and Rachel think of two names but then change their minds until Monica tells her ones and Rachel names the baby Emma. Great name. Ross was going to pose after all. I was so shocked when Joey found the ring and Rachel saw it and she thought Joey was prosing to her and she agrees. To be continued...

Fantastic end to a two-parter finale with a great cliffhanger.

Joey, pretending to be Drake, reports to Phoebe. Chandler and Monica look for a room in the hospital to use for a tryst. After 21 hours of labor, Rachel's ready to have the baby. Joey blows it for Phoebe but fixes it just as quickly. The baby is in breach, but comes out okay. After Ross and Rachel kiss, the baby is named Emma Geller Green. Monica and Chandler find a janitor's closet to make a baby. Janice convinces Rachel that she needs a guy who will be around.
