This season sure has been quite a roller coaster ride. A handful of bad and good episodes all in one season. I'm not saying that's a good thing. All the plots here were pretty good though, we got development in some places, and just hilarity in others. What a Friends episode should be like. Or at least this is the shadow of what it should be like.

Rachel doesn't want Ross seeing anybody else when she starts getting jealous of a woman he meets at the baby store. All of Rachel's lines were comedic gold. Too many to mention, basically most of it is making fun of the woman Ross is dating, but it is absolutely hysterical. Ross agrees not to date anyone else by the end.

When Monica gets a bad review in the paper, which is hard to believe, considering she is a good chef. She accidentally stumbles upon a cooking class, that tells her she's the best ever, which brings back one of Monica's most common qualities. Seek for approval, but in this sense, it wasn't as exaggerated as it usually is in season eight. It was at an acceptable level. Put more plots with Monica & Joey together: It works!

The Phoebe & Chandler pairing together in a story line, I have never was a big fan of. Considering how cruel Phoebe is to Chandler some times. Sure it's for comic relief, but I always feel like she's picking on Chandler constantly. But this episode was okay, it was focused on Chandler's interview, which was great. Good episode overall.moreless
  • Monica and Joey go to cooking class.

Good episode! Monica sure gets angry about her bad report. I would be mad to if I was told my food was bad. Well at least I am not a chef! I was shocked when Joey made those good cookies and she thought it was better than Monica's. Rachel gets upset about Ross dating this girl who she calls a slut. Phoebe teached Chandler for an interview. It was so funny at the end with Chandler jokes and then jokes about it and saying it never happened. Ah he is so funny!moreless

This is the episode where Joey is trying t leanr how to cook and he takes with him Monica to a cooking class and she does great and she feels loved and special because every body who is a begginer in the class are impressed with her . Later in the show Monica and Joey have to mek cookies and they make great cookies and there both praised in the class . Later there asked to make some sort of soup and they mentioned that the best of that soup is made in the restaurant where monicas works and so she makes it they love it and she reviels she is a porefessional chef who worls at that restaraunt and she is kicked out of the class but she feels great becuase she feels that people do love her food :) ! !moreless
  • Fine example of all their personalities!

    9.7
I love how serious Phoebe sounds while saying this. Rachel: "He almost got a whore at Sluts-R-Us!"

Phoebe: "Is that a real place? Are they hiring?"

And then at the cooking class Monica was so into herself thinking she was so good when she was too advanced to begin with to even be in the class and then Joey doesn't even know simple acting terms when they drop in on a beginners acting class. So funny.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • Goof: A microphone is visible above Rachel right after she says "Hey, you're back from your date!"

    • Trivia: This episode mirrors "The One with Joey's Interview", two episodes earlier. Both episodes involve an interview in which it is feared that the one being interviewed (Joey/Chandler) will screw up simply by being himself. In both cases, although they manage to get through the interviews successfully, immediately afterward, they screw up anyway.

    • Goof: When Rachel plays with the dinosaur toys, she's near to the walls in the back part of the apartment. In the next scene, when she wishes they have a good time, she's standing behind the couch with no time to walk there.

    • Goof: When Monica and Joey enter the cooking class, the teacher walks by them. When the camera angle changes, the teacher walks by them again.

  • QUOTES (13)

    • Rachel: We were paying for the stuff, and the salesgirl just started hitting on him! Can you believe that?
Phoebe: Well, did she know you two aren't married?
      Rachel: Yeah.
Phoebe: Oh, my God! The idea of a woman flirting with an unmarried man? We must alert the church elders!

    • Rachel: (About Katie) I don't want you to date her!
Ross: What? Why ? Are you jealous?
Rachel: Yes! And not because I want you to go out with me, but because I don't want you to go out with anybody! Okay? I know it's a terrible thing to even think this, and it's completely inappropriate, but I want you to be at my constant beck and call 24 hours a day! I'm very sorry, but that is just the way that I feel.
      Ross: Okay.
      Rachel: What?
Ross: I won't date. I'll uh, I'll be here, with you, all the time.
Rachel: Really? But I'm being so unreasonable.
Ross: True, but you're allowed to be unreasonable. You're having our baby.

    • Chandler: I can't even believe this! I really come off that badly?
Phoebe: It's okay, you calm down after a while and then people can see how really sweet and wonderful you really are.
Chandler: Oh good. Good, because I'm sure this interview is gonna last a couple of weeks.
Phoebe: All right, don't freak out! Okay? I-I will help you. How long before you have to leave?
      Chandler: An hour.
      Phoebe: I can't help you.

    • Rachel: All this stuff takes up a lot of room. Hey how uh, how serious are you about keeping Ben in your life?
      Ross: My son? Pretty serious.

    • Phoebe: How did baby shopping go?
Rachel: Oh, it was great. We got everything that we needed. Oh, and Ross almost got something that wasn't on the list. A whore.

    • Rachel: (About the clerk hitting on Ross while they are baby shopping) Horny bitch!
(Ross and the clerk look at Rachel)
Rachel: (Shakes one stuffed animal at the other) No, you're a horny bitch. (Shakes the other stuffed animal) No, you're a horny bitch.

    • Sarah: Your fettuccine alfredo looks a little dry. Did you use all your cheese?
Joey: When you said use, did you mean eat as a precooking snack?
      Sarah: And the cream?
      Joey: Cheese makes me thirsty.

    • Chandler: Did you like me when we first met?
Rachel: Chandler, I'm not going to lie to you. But I am going to run away from you.

    • Rachel: (About Monica's bad review) You know what they say, there's no such thing as bad press.
Monica: You don't think "The chef's mahi mahi is awful awful" is bad press?

    • Monica: I think the things you said about me were really unfair and I would like you to try my bouillabaisse again.
Food Critic: I don't see any reason why I would do that to myself again.
Joey: Either eat it or be in it.
      (Critic tastes bouillabaisse)
Monica: So, what do you think?
Food Critic: I'm torn, between my integrity and my desire to avoid a beating.

    • Monica: Hey Joey, come taste this.
      Joey: What is it?
Monica: Remember that guy who gave me a bad review? Well ... (She gives him a spoon of soup to try) I'm getting my revenge.
      Joey: You cooked him?

    • Phoebe: Ah, Bing. What an unusual name.
Chandler: Well you should meet my uncle, Ba-da!

    • Rachel: Here I am about to pop and he's out picking up some shop girl at Sluts-R-Us!
Phoebe: Is that a real place? Are they hiring?
