Goof: When Ross gets stuck in the office, he calls Joey looking for Charlie, despite the fact that he saw Charlie leave the coffee house with Rachel to go shopping.
Goof: Zack asks Monica for a coaster. However, when he stands up to go to the bathroom, and the camera angle changes, his glass is on the table, not the coaster.
Trivia: At the end of the episode when Chandler is talking to Zack in his office, there is a frame in the hallway behind Chandler with the Japanese hiragana symbol. The Japanese symbol, me, means sight, eye, viewpoint, or experience, which alludes to a motivational office slogan in this case.
Goof: When Monica, Chandler, and Zack are all eating dinner, Zack's fork is in his hand, then it's on the table, and then in his hand again.
Goof: When Ross was trying to get out of the room, he could have just walked around the front of the desk instead of trying to get past the professor.
Goof: How did Charlie not notice that Rachel said that she liked Joey, instead of Phoebe? Their voices are very different.
Continuity: While talking with Chandler and Ross in the coffeehouse about Chandler and Monica's inability to conceive, Joey mentions not knowing the meaning of surrogacy. This is very hard to believe, given that Phoebe was the surrogate for Frank Jr. and Alice's kids earlier in the series.
Joey: (about the girls going shopping) Oh isn't that nice. The three of you trying on slutty lingerie together.
Rachel: That's not what we're gonna do...
Joey: (upset) Why would you ruin it?! Who was I hurtin'?
Monica: (to Chandler) Ah! I still can't believe this... My uterus is an inhospitable environment? I've always tried so hard to be a good hostess!
Doctor Connelly: Even though your chances of conceiving through natural means aren't great, you never know. So... keep having sex on a regular basis.
Chandler: Aw, damn it!
(Doctor Connelly gives Chandler a confused look)
Monica: (to Doctor Connelly) Don't worry, after awhile you'll... you'll tune it out.
Ross: I may get to speak at this Paleontology conference, and if I do, I'd love for you guys to come and hear me.
Chandler: I think I can safely say that we all have family issues, work stuff, and/or are sick.
Ross: It's in Barbados.
Chandler: But you come first!
Joey: So you're ruling out surrogacy?
Joey: So I don't have to learn what that means?
Charlie: Joey and I are going to a movie tonight. Wanna come?
Rachel: Oh I can't... because... I've seen them.
Charlie: You've seen all the movies?
Rachel: Yeah. I'm a big fan! Of the movies. You know, "motion pictures"... the "talkies".
Rachel: She just swept Joey off his feet. Nobody else had a chance.
Phoebe: Who else?
Rachel: Anybody. You. Me. You know, Monica's mom.
Joey: (about Ross's speech putting the professor to sleep) Oh, wait a minute... this happened to me before! Yeah, I was auditioning for a play and the producers fell asleep and... (thinking about it) No. Wait a minute... it was me who fell asleep. Yeah, I mean, hey, Shakespeare... how about a chase scene once in awhile?!
Zack: So tell me, how did you guys meet?
Monica: Oh, friends first, drunk in London, you know the story. I've got a better question for you... Do you or any of your blood relatives have diabetes?
Chandler: Y'know, I'm the husband... I'm supposed to bring the sperm.
Chandler: (about adoption) How do you feel about that?
Monica: I think I feel okay about it. Actually, I think I feel really good about it.
Chandler: Me too. I wanna find a baby that needs a home and I wanna raise it with you.. and I wanna mess it up in our own specific way.
