  • Not the best Friends episode, but still very good.

Not much happens in this episode that affects anything else, but it has its moments. Monica hires Joey to be a waiter at her restaurant just so she can fire him to show that she can't be messed with. Joey initially goes with the idea, but after realising how much money he can make, he doesn't want to get fired. Eventually though, he agrees. Ross has to decide whether he should continue to date a girl from Poughkeepsie or date one who lives locally. He doesnt find the local one fun so breaks up with her, and intends to break up with the one from Poughkeepsie because he is too exhausted from dating her, but falls asleep on the train and ends up in an even worse predicament. My favourite part of the episode, though, is Phoebe, who tries to write a holiday song for everyone, which ends up being hilarious. Overall, slightly disappointing for Friends standards but still a great episode.
  • Pretty funny.

This episode was just okay. The episode I liked the most was Monica's plot because I love how everyone is so mean to her. I'm not trying to be mean, but it is quite funny. I loved what they wrote on her hat. Joey was nice enough to back her. "With A Little Help From My Friends" as the song says. Ross' plot was also just okay, I like how at the end, he ended up with a girl from Montreal, Canada. That reminded me of "Seinfeld" somewhat. Phoebe's Christmas song was perfect well except at the end. Perfect plot that tied the rest together.
