As Monica and Chandler are arguing in the pizza restaurant, Chandler accidentally spits a piece of food out onto his lip when he says "mantrap. "
When Richard comes back to "compliment the chef" Monica is entirely alone in the kitchen and she stops cooking to have a conversation with him. It is perceived that this is a meal time therefore it is very unrealistic that Monica would be the only chef working in the kitchen at such a busy time.
Monica tells Richard that she doesn't like her new eye doctor in this episode, yet at the end of the previous season in "The One With Joey's Big Break" she had an eye doctor that she said was really good.
Goof: Before Chandler goes to Richard's he runs into his and Monica's bedroom to grab the engagement ring. He simply grabs it out of a drawer and runs. Why would he be keeping the ring in a drawer, not hidden at all, where Monica could easily find it?
Continuity: When Monica is in Richard's apartment, she gets upset about how her current situation is not fair. She says that fair would have been Richard wanting to marry her when they were together, or Chandler wanting to marry her now. This is a misstatement on her part. Richard did want to marry her when they were together. The deal breaker was that he did not really want to have more children.
Goof: At the end when Chandler walks through the door, the camera switches to Monica and you can see the set lights above her.
Magna Doodle: A drawing of a racing car
Goof: At the end when Chandler goes back into his apartment, he opens the door from the outside with his right hand. The view immediately switches to him from the inside of the apartment, and he is holding the handle with his left hand.
Trivia: Normally, in the two-parts episodes, the ending credits are shots of the gang dancing at the water fountain, and the guest actors and actresses credited are from the both parts. However in this episode, the credits only showed "Richard", and the shot was of Chandler & Monica dancing slowly, even the fact that in part 1 the credits were shown with the water fountain shots.
Continuity: When the gang hugs after Monica says "Yes" to Chandler and Phoebe said that is wrong because Ross wasn't there, Rachel says that it doesn't matter because he had been over that 3 times. Ross only proposed to Carol and Emily. in his third marriage with Rachel there was no proposal.
Goof: After Elizabeth throws the water baloons at Ross, he is seen walking away and behind him you can see the feet of someone standing on a ledge, most likely from a boom operator.
Continuity: During the scene with the water balloon fight, the water spots on Ross's clothes change places between shots.
Goof: When Ross arrives at Elizabeth's apartment, he's wearing a suit and takes the jacket off. When he's seen outside in the street after breaking up with her, he doesn't have the suit jacket. It would be strange for him not to take the jacket of what he claimed was a very expensive suit.
Trivia: In the beginning of this episode, Ross says about Chandler's ring, "It's beautiful," and Rachel replies, "You would know, you've bought like a billion of them." This is the same line that Phoebe says in the tag scene from the previous episode.
Trivia: The story that Monica and Dr. Burke are telling at the restaurant happened in "The One Where Joey Moves Out".
Continuity: Monica says to Richard, "I see you got your mustache back." Monica already knows this because the last time she saw Richard was just before "The One In Vegas (1)". Monica says to Phoebe, "You know, the tall guy, mustache."
Goof: When Monica, Chandler and Joey are sitting on the couch in Central Perk towards the end of the episode, Monica's hair changes with different camera angles. When she is seen from the side there is a large piece of hair in front of her left ear. When she is seen from the front, the piece is pushed behind her ear.
Goof: In the scene at the restaurant, the amount of champagne in Chandler's glass changes between shots.
Goof: When Joey and Ross are in the coffeehouse talking about how they are going to be best friends, Joey points to Ross when he says Joey, and he points to himself when he says Ross.
Magna Doodle: Rachel call D'ward St. George
This is a reference to Edward St. George, a hair stylist on the set of Friends at that time.
