NBC (ended 2004)

  • Season 10 Episode 16: The One With Rachel's Goi...

  • Goof: When Ross fears that Rachel is going to talk with him, the volume and the color of his beer changes between shots.

  • Continuity: In this episode Chandler finds furry black handcuffs, and everybody says that they have never seen them before. How is that possible considering all the people that have moved in and out of that room? How come nobody noticed them when the room and closet were painted green after being pink? What's more, with Monica's obsessive cleaning, they should have been discovered years ago--not to mention the photographs of Nana using them that Chandler finds.

  • Season 10 Episode 15: The One Where Estelle Dies

  • Goof: When Phoebe pretends to be Estelle, she uses both Estelle's accent and her catch phrase "Joey, it's Estelle!" As Phoebe has never met Estelle, how does she know these details?
Note: Although that is technically true, a certain suspension of disbelief applies here. Estelle has been Joey's agent for almost ten years, so it's conceivable that Phoebe has met her on a number of occasions not covered on the show.

  • Magna Doodle: A smiling, waving banana walking along carrying an umbrella

  • Goof: When Phoebe calls Joey on her cell phone and pretends to be Estelle, shouldn't Joey recognize her name or number on his phone?

  • Trivia: In this episode Janice's full name is revealed: Janice Litman-Goralnik née Hosenstein.

  • Goof: At the beginning of the episode, after Rachel climbs off Joey, you can briefly see the top of her black thong above her skirt in the back.

  • Season 10 Episode 14: The One with Princess Con...

  • Continuity: In this episode Monica is afraid to admit to Chandler that she hasn't changed her last name to "Bing", but in Season 7's "The One with the Holiday Armadillo", she states quite matter-of-factly to him that she's not going to change her name, because "Bing's weird!"

  • Trivia: For Monica, in case the question comes up again, New York City Civil Court is where she would have gone to change her name. Moreover, when changing your name, there is a distinction made between assuming your spouse's name (Monica Bing or Monica Geller-Bing), reverting to your maiden name following divorce (Monica Geller) and a name change not related at all to marriage (Princess Consuela Bananahammock).

  • Trivia: There's a little deja vu in this episode:
Rachel: Well, I didn't get the job at Gucci and I got fired from Ralph Lauren.
Chandler: That is a bad interview.

And in Season 6's "The One with the Joke":

Joey: I didn't get the part... and I lost my job here.
Phoebe: That is a bad audition.

  • Trivia: When Mark meets Ross and Rachel outside of Ralph Lauren's, Rachel says to him, "You remember Ross?", to which Mark replies, "Sure, sure... What's with the chair?" You can see, however, that between "Sure, sure", and "What's with the chair", Mark says something else that was removed from the soundtrack. Rachel's "Ah" must have been dubbed in afterwards. When Mark leaves, Ross asks Rachel who that was, so what was removed was likely something that would have reminded him of Mark and therefore made the follow-up question unnecessary.

  • Trivia: Although Phoebe changed her name to "Princess Consuela Bananahammock", she says that her friends can call her "Valerie". Valerie is in reality Lisa Kudrow's middle name.

  • Goof: After Phoebe told Monica and Chandler her new name, Monica exclaimed "Phoebe!" and Phoebe corrected her by saying "Princess Consuela." However, shortly after when Monica asks if they have to call her that, Phoebe says her friends can call her "Valerie."

  • Goof: At the very beginning of the episode, when Mike, Phoebe, Chandler and Monica are eating dinner, a microphone is visible at the top of the screen.

  • Goof: When Ross hugs Rachel in Central Perk, after finding out she has been fired, he leans his face against hers twice.

  • Goof: In the scene where Phoebe and Mike discuss Phoebe's name change, you can see Mike's scarf change from tied to untied repeatedly between shots.

  • Season 10 Episode 13: The One Where Joey Speaks...

  • Continuity: We discover in this episode that Rachel's father is still living in her childhood home. In Season 2's "The One with the Two Parties", however, when Rachel is sharing her concerns about her parents divorce to Chandler, she says, "She gets the house, he's in some condo my sister's going to decorate with wicker...".

  • Trivia: Monica has determined after talking with Erica that "Shovely Joe" could not have been the father of their baby. She explains to Chandler, "..the thing she did with that prison guy?'d be pretty hard to make a baby that way". This is the third time that joke has been used in the series. The first time was in "The One with Joey's Bag": Phoebe's grandmother has died and as she's telling the others, Monica rushes into Central Perk and announces that a couple is doing it in a car across the street. Phoebe says, "One life ends, another begins", to which Monica responds, "Not the way they're doing it". It was then used in "The One with the Birthing Video". Rachel is watching what she believes to be the birthing video when it is in fact a porno tape. She wonders if maybe it's showing how the woman got pregnant in the first place, but after watching for a bit says, "No, no... can't get pregnant that way".

  • Magna Doodle: A drawing of an old-fashioned deep sea diver trying to retrieve a sunken treasure that is being guarded by a giant squid

  • Continuity: When Joey first asked Phoebe to help him speak French, Rachel said she didn't know Phoebe spoke French. But in "The One with the Rumor," Phoebe told Rachel that she and some other people would meet behind a dumpster to learn French.
