NBC (ended 2004)

  • Season 10 Episode 8: The One with the Late Tha...

  • Magna Doodle: A drawing of a dog begging and a cat sitting with it's tongue sticking out. Underneath, the caption reads, "LIL DOG & SARA".

  • Goof: When Monica and Chandler are in the kitchen talking about the adoption agency, the studio light reflection is visible bouncing off the balcony window.

  • Goof: When Chandler tells Joey he can see his fake Rangers hand, Ross takes it off and throws it on the floor in front of him. Joey bends over to pick up the finger from in front of him, but when the shot changes, he's picking it up from behind him near the step.

  • Goof: Since Phoebe and Mike are now engaged, wouldn't they spend Thanksgiving together?

  • Continuity: It's not possible for Rachel to have an old key that works. In "The One Where Rachel Tells..." after Treeger knocks down the door, he clearly states that the door will need a new lock.

  • Continuity: How could Rachel still have her old key when she gave it to Monica when she moved out in "The One on the Last Night"? Also, the four friends who are locked outside Chandler and Monica's apartment can't seem to be able to find a key, yet in the series finale, they all leave their own keys to the very same apartment on the counter. Why didn't they use them here?

  • Goof: When everyone approaches Monica and Chandler to hug them after hearing about the baby, the audio is a few seconds behind the actor's speech. This is clearly noticeable when Rachel mouths "I'm so happy for you," with the audio of that coming in shortly after.

  • Season 10 Episode 7: The One with the Home Study

  • Trivia: Ross says that his next wedding is going to take place "in Hawaii at sunset". That is very close to the fantasy wedding Rachel came up with in Season 8's "The One in Massapequa".

  • Goof: When Monica tells Laura, the adoption lady, that she can check under the furniture for porn and cigarettes, Laura starts talking again but her mouth isn't moving until the camera switches angles.

  • Goof: When Rachel is talking about her fear of swings in her apartment to Ross, she says, "Alright, well if you must know, I had a traumatic swing incident when I was little". As she begins the sentence, we are seeing her from behind. When the camera switches to a shot of her face, we see that she did not speak the first part of the sentence and just begins with "I had a traumatic swing incident...". The first part of the sentence, "Alright, well if you must know...", was clearly dubbed in post production. Perhaps the producers felt that the original statement began too abruptly.

  • Magna Doodle: A drawing of a giant snail with huge fangs and a little man in a hat yelling, "Help!"

  • Continuity: The veil that Monica wants to loan Phoebe is not the one she wore for her wedding.

  • Season 10 Episode 6: The One with Ross's Grant

  • Continuity: When first meeting Benjamin Hobart, Ross refers with great admiration to his Nobel "Prize" (singular). In Season 9's "The One with the Soap Opera Party", however, Charlie states that Benjamin Hobart had won two Nobel Prizes, a fact of which Ross was well aware at the time. Later in the episode, even Hobart refers to his Nobel "Prize".

  • Goof: As Rachel is getting ready to put Emma to bed you can see that as Emma pushes the book that Rachel is reading away, the toy Caterpillar is not at her side. In the next shot it shows her with the toy Caterpillar.

  • Goof: When Rachel is reading to Emma, in one shot you can see a small plush doll on Rachel's lap, but in the next shot it's gone.

  • Continuity: When Charlie and Benjamin are at the restaurant, Benjamin says "I can't believe you chose this restaurant. You remember that night?" To which Charlie replies "I can't believe they let us back in here." However in "The One with the Fertility Test" it is stated that Charlie has never been to New York before.
Note: To be accurate, at no time do they say that the restaurant where Ross, Charlie and Benjamin are having dinner is in New York. Charlie had moved to New York from Boston, so it's possible that she and Ross traveled to Boston to have dinner with Hobart who still lives and works there. It probably is New York, but that fact is never actually stated.

  • Goof: When Phoebe tells Rachel and Monica that Mike is going to let her keep her box of human hair, Rachel's chopsticks are down by the plate. In the next shot, she's holding them close to her mouth.

  • Magna Doodle: A drawing of a dog chewing on the leg bones of a skeleton.

  • Continuity: In this episode, Monica is mortified at the thought of hanging "Gladys" in her apartment, but in the flashback episodes, when Monica and Phoebe were roommates, Gladys can be seen hanging in Monica's apartment on the wall to the left of the front door.

  • Trivia: In Joey's commercial from Japan, "Ichiban - Lipstick For Men", the term "ichiban" means "the best" or "first." At the end of the commercial, Joey actually says "Saikoo!", which is conversational Japanese for "best" or "supreme."
