Trivia: Apparently Monica and Rachel's apartment doesn't have working smoke alarms. When they finally get back in and everything is burnt, there's a lot of smoke in the air and no alarms to be heard.
Goof: After the food is burned, the group is sitting in front of the TV watching skiing. When Monica turns off the TV, two crew members are visible in the TV's reflection.
Continuity: During Monica's rant about dinner she said it is her first Thanksgiving, but in "The One with All the Thanksgivings" she was making Thanksgiving dinner when Joey got his head stuck in a turkey.
Note: In the flashback, Monica says to Joey, "That turkey has to feed twenty people at my parent's house, and they're not gonna eat it off your head!" In other words, it is not Thanksgiving dinner at Monica's.
Continuity: The girl's apartment door is always unlocked. You see people walking in all the time, and you see nobody locking it. If somebody would have locked it, this person would have the key. Furthermore, in the final episode Monica mentions that they should leave their keys for Treager, and now everyone has one. Granted, it's ten years later, but still.
Continuity: Phoebe's a vegetarian and won't even touch meat, however in this episode she's preparing the Thanksgiving turkey with Monica. Also in "The One with the Lottery," Phoebe says she would like to break a wishbone claiming that just because vegetarians don't eat meat doesn't mean they don't like to play with the carcasses.
I made a man with eyes of coal
and a smile so bewitchin'.
How was I supposed to know
that my mom was dead in the kitchen?
La lalala laaa la lala La lalala la la...
My mother's ashes, even her eyelashes,
are resting in a little yellow jar.
And sometimes, when it's breezy,
I feel a little sneezy, and now I... (interrupted)
Trivia: Chandler tells one of the party goers that he was bitten by a peacock. In a previous episode "The One with the Blackout", Phoebe mentions this incident saying she was the last to know when Chandler got bitten by the peacock.
Factual Error: Minsk is not, nor has it ever been, in Russia. Until 1991, it was in the USSR and presently, it's the capital of Belarus.
Continuity: In this episode Joey claims that it is okay for guys to kiss their friend's sister, but in "The One Where Chandler Can't Remember Which Sister", Joey clearly does not think it's okay.
Trivia: It is revealed in this episode that Rachel's middle name is Karen.
Phoebe's Song: "My Man"
You don't have to be awake to be my man.
As long as you have brainwaves
I'll be there to hold your hand.
Though we just met the other day,
there's something I have got to say...
Trivia: In the opening scene where Monica and Phoebe are walking to the newsstand, you can see one of Joey's VD posters from "The One Where Underdog Gets Away" in the alley.
Goof: At the restaurant Paolo eats something out of Rachel's hand, but in the next shot it's in her hand again
Continuity: Joey says that it wasn't easy for his mom to give birth to seven children, but with Joey plus his seven sisters, she had in fact given birth to eight children.
Trivia: Aunt Syl shows up again in Season 3's "The One with the Dollhouse" wherein she dies and bequeaths Monica her dollhouse (which somewhat makes up for the cancelled lasagnas). She's also mentioned in Season 2's "The One Where Old Yeller Dies": Chandler is sporting a mustache to look more like Richard and Monica asides to Ross, "With that mustache, doesn't Chandler remind you of Aunt Sylvia?"
Factual Error: Monica tells her Aunt Syl that in the lasagnas, the meat is only every third layer. In lasagna, it is every fourth layer. There is one layer of lasagna noodles, one of Ricotta mixture, one of meat sauce and one of grated mozzarella, repeating.
Continuity: In this episode Phoebe says she never lies, yet in "The One With Rachel's Other Sister", Phoebe is an excellent liar and is even teaching Joey how to lie.
Trivia: In this episode Ross does not want to know the sex of his baby, but Rachel accidentally lets it slip. In "The One Where Chandler Takes a Bath", Rachel does not want to know the sex of her baby, and Ross mistakenly lets it slip.
Goof: When Rachel and Phoebe are talking about what a pig Paolo is, Rachel grabs the paper towels, pulls them across the kitchen, and then sits down while holding them. The camera angle then changes to Phoebe talking. When it cuts back to Rachel, the paper towel roll is untouched and Rachel is holding nothing. When we cut back to her later in the scene, she is once again holding the paper towels.
