  • Season 2 Episode 14: The One with the Prom Video

  • Goof: When Monica turns off the prom video, the reflection on the TV shows her getting up. But in the next scene she is sitting down.

  • Continuity: Joey was surprised that Monica was fat in high school, but he has already seen fat Monica in her yearbook in "The One Where the Monkey Gets Away".

  • Trivia: The song that Ross played on his keyboard in the prom video, "Axel F" by Harold Faltermeye, is most commonly associated with the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack.

  • Goof: When Phoebe tells Chandler that a girl is "checking him out" she incorrectly says that she is sitting at 11 o' clock. Their perspectives would actually make the girl sitting at 5 o' clock.

  • Season 2 Episode 13: The One After the Super B...

  • Continuity: When Susie Moss takes all of Chandler's clothes, she would have also taken his wallet (containing his aging condom), ID, money and keys. This fact is never dealt with in this or subsequent episodes.

  • Goof: This episode takes place in New York in January. In all the outdoor scenes, everyone, including Chandler, is wearing a winter coat. Chandler's, in particular, is a black, knee-length topcoat. He was not wearing it when he followed Susie Moss to the washroom which means it would still be in the restaurant coat-check. Ross or Joey could have simply brought him his topcoat; it would not have been necessary for him to leave the washroom wearing only panties (of course, that would have robbed us of a classic Friends moment: Chandler leaving the restaurant wearing a washroom stall door). In the final scene of the episode where Phoebe asks Chandler if she can borrow his "G-string", we see that he is still wearing that same black topcoat.

  • Goof: Monica and Rachel get into a fight and Phoebe breaks it up. Later that night Monica goes out with Jean-Claude Van Damme. In the next fight scene, all three girls are wearing the same clothes again.

  • Goof: When Chandler leaves the restaurant carrying the door from the bathroom stall, a glimpse of clothing, possibly a pair of shorts, is seen as he maneuvers the door through the tables. This is despite the fact he is supposed to be naked except for a hot pink thong.

  • Trivia: During the Ross and Marcel goodbye scene at the limo, the music heard is a slow version of the chorus of the Friends theme song "I'll be There for You."

  • Trivia: After Ross's date with Marcel is broken, he, Chandler, Joey, and their dates have dinner at a restaurant named Marcel's. This is subtly seen on the cover of the restaurant menus.

  • Trivia: This episode, along with "The One After The Super Bowl (1)" was the most watched Friends episode, surpassing even the series finale. It was watched by 52.9 million viewers.

  • Season 2 Episode 12: The One After the Super B...

  • Continuity: When Chandler suggests that he and Joey stay in and cook dinner for themselves, they both laugh hysterically, implying that neither of them can cook. However, in "The One with the Boobies" and "The One with Russ", we see Joey cooking Italian as if he's quite comfortable in the kitchen, and in "The One Where Eddie Moves In", Chandler and Joey fight over whose eggs are better, Eddie's or Joey's. In "The One with Ross's Library Book", we learn that Chandler knows how to make pancakes. Anyone who can make pancakes, would probably have other basic cooking skills, as well.

  • Goof: You have to wonder how Erika could have tracked Joey down to his apartment in New York when she believed him to be Dr. Drake Ramoray, a surgeon in Salem, Massachusetts.

  • Phoebe's Songs: "Grandma"
Now, Grandma's a person who everyone likes,
She bought you a train and a bright, shiny bike.
But lately she hasn't been coming to dinner,
And last time you saw her she looked so much thinner.
Now, your mom and your dad said she moved to Peru,
But the truth is she died and some day you will too.

"Another Thing You Don't Wanna Do"
There'll be times when you get older
When you'll want to sleep with people
Just to make them like you
    But don't.
    'Cause that's another thing
    That you don't wanna do
    That's another thing
    That you don't wanna do.

    "The Cow in the Meadow"
Oh, the cow in the meadow goes moo,
Oh, the cow in the meadow goes moo.
Then the farmer hits him on the head and grinds him up,
And that's how we get hamburgers.
    Now, chickens!

    Sometimes men love women
    Sometimes men love men,
    And then there are bisexuals
Though some just say they're kidding themselves.

  • Trivia: The jacket Joey wears to his date with the stalker is the same one he wore to Carol and Susan's wedding.

  • Goof: When Joey is trying to explain to Erika that he's on a television show and the other friends are around, you can see Rachel stifle her laugh just before she turns on Joey's TV.

  • Goof: When Joey is out to dinner with his stalker, her hair keeps changing. In the first two camera angles you see her with 2 bangs hanging down, then in the third shot she only has 1 bang, and then there are 2 again.

  • Season 2 Episode 11: The One with the Lesbian ...

  • Goof: Joey and Chandler are lamenting the fact that there are only lesbians at Carol and Susan's wedding, but they would obviously have straight friends as well. To begin with, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe and Mrs. Green are straight. Surely there are some others such as work acquaintances and family friends. Admittedly, it would take a little looking, but it shouldn't be a foregone conclusion that there are only lesbian women there.

  • Factual Error: Same-sex marriage wasn't legal in the state of New York until 2011.

  • Goof: When Susan asks Ross to dance, she says that he can lead. As they begin dancing, however, she assumes the traditional male position, her left hand holding his right, her right hand on his waist. Then, when the camera changes angles, Ross is suddenly leading. It's possible that a short scene was deleted where Ross points out to Susan that she is leading, and they switch.
