  • Season 2 Episode 12: The One After the Super B...

  • Phoebe's Songs: "Grandma"
Now, Grandma's a person who everyone likes,
She bought you a train and a bright, shiny bike.
But lately she hasn't been coming to dinner,
And last time you saw her she looked so much thinner.
Now, your mom and your dad said she moved to Peru,
But the truth is she died and some day you will too.

"Another Thing You Don't Wanna Do"
There'll be times when you get older
When you'll want to sleep with people
Just to make them like you
    But don't.
    'Cause that's another thing
    That you don't wanna do
    Everybody!
    That's another thing
    That you don't wanna do.

    "The Cow in the Meadow"
Oh, the cow in the meadow goes moo,
Oh, the cow in the meadow goes moo.
Then the farmer hits him on the head and grinds him up,
And that's how we get hamburgers.
    Now, chickens!

    "Sometimes"
    Sometimes men love women
    Sometimes men love men,
    And then there are bisexuals
Though some just say they're kidding themselves.

  • Trivia: The jacket Joey wears to his date with the stalker is the same one he wore to Carol and Susan's wedding.

  • Goof: When Joey is trying to explain to Erika that he's on a television show and the other friends are around, you can see Rachel stifle her laugh just before she turns on Joey's TV.

  • Goof: When Joey is out to dinner with his stalker, her hair keeps changing. In the first two camera angles you see her with 2 bangs hanging down, then in the third shot she only has 1 bang, and then there are 2 again.

  • Season 2 Episode 11: The One with the Lesbian ...

  • Goof: Joey and Chandler are lamenting the fact that there are only lesbians at Carol and Susan's wedding, but they would obviously have straight friends as well. To begin with, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe and Mrs. Green are straight. Surely there are some others such as work acquaintances and family friends. Admittedly, it would take a little looking, but it shouldn't be a foregone conclusion that there are only lesbian women there.

  • Factual Error: Same-sex marriage wasn't legal in the state of New York until 2011.

  • Goof: When Susan asks Ross to dance, she says that he can lead. As they begin dancing, however, she assumes the traditional male position, her left hand holding his right, her right hand on his waist. Then, when the camera changes angles, Ross is suddenly leading. It's possible that a short scene was deleted where Ross points out to Susan that she is leading, and they switch.

  • Goof: When Monica is talking to Ross about catering Carol and Susan's wedding, Chandler is putting something back in the fridge. He closes the door and puts his hands in his pants pockets. When the camera angle changes, however, his hands are no longer in his pockets as he starts to sing.

  • Factual Error: Days of our Lives films in Burbank, California, but somehow Joey auditioned and films in New York City.

  • Season 2 Episode 10: The One with Russ

  • Factual Error: Days of Our Lives is filmed in Los Angeles, California, but Friends is set in New York City.

  • Trivia: While sitting in Central Perk, Phoebe says her surprised/defeated "Oh, no" for the first time when she hears that Lorne Greene is dead.

  • Goof: Ross is dating the curator of moths and other wing-ed things from the museum. Wouldn't the curator of moths and other wing-ed things and the curator of insects (which is a different woman that he dates) from "The One with the Stoned Guy" be the same thing, since moths are insects?

  • Trivia: The producers of the show have joked in the past that the character of Russ was played by a famous Croatian actor named Snaro, but Schwimmer has said that the name Snaro was a tribute to a friend of his.

  • Season 2 Episode 9: The One with Phoebe's Dad

  • Trivia: In Phoebe's Grandmother's apartment, an "original Buffay" (a work of art involving a woman coming out of a picture frame) can be seen in the background. These paintings figure later in Season 10's "The One with Ross's Grant".

  • Continuity: In this episode Phoebe says her father left her mother before she was born. However, in "The One with Joey's Bag", Frank Buffay says he used to sing lullabies to Phoebe and Ursula, contradicting what Phoebe said in this episode.

  • Trivia: After her grandma gives Phoebe the keys to her cab, Phoebe looks at a picture of Albert Einstein and says, "Wish me luck, grandpa".

  • Season 2 Episode 8: The One with the List

  • Phoebe's Song: "Two of Them Kissed Last Night"
There was a girl, we'll call her Betty
And a guy, let's call him Neil.
Now I can't stress this point too strongly...
    This story isn't real.
    (Time lapse)
    Now our Neil must decide
Who will be the girl that he casts aside?
Will Betty be the one who he loves truly?
Or will it be the one who we'll call... Lulie?
He must decide, he must decide,
even though I made him up, he must decide!

  • Trivia: Ross has a book about artist Henri Matisse on his coffee table, which you can see towards the end of the episode.

  • Trivia: The radio DJ says "Avery, Michelle's sorry she hit you with her car." Avery Michelle is Marta Kaufman's goddaughter. Her parents are who Carol and Susan were based on.

  • Goof: When Rachel reads the list you can see the back of the paper is blank and then later when she and Ross are at her door he tells her to read the back for Julie's list but the back is blank.
