  • Season 2 Episode 18: The One Where Dr. Ramoray...

  • Continuity: In this episode, Monica can't have sex with Richard because Rachel is using the last condom, but in "The One Where Eddie Moves In", it's mentioned that Monica uses a diaphragm as contraception.

  • Continuity: Richard reveals to Monica that he's only slept with two women: his ex-wife and Monica. Shortly thereafter, Ross makes a similar reference to Rachel about "both women" he's slept with. However, in a previous episode, it was confirmed that Ross slept with Julie (at least "twice!"), so that makes Carol, Julie, and now Rachel, a total of three women.

  • Goof: When Chandler and Eddie are trying to recall the capital of Cambodia, a boom mike is visible above Eddie's head.

  • Phoebe's Song:
    "Crusty Old Man"
And a crusty old man said,
     "I'll do what I can,"
and the rest of the rats played maracas.

  • Continuity: Monica says she straightened out Joey's shower curtain. However, "The One Where Eddie Moves In" shows that Joey's bathroom has a translucent shower door, not a curtain.

  • Trivia: This is the first episode where we see more of Monica and Rachel's apartment, including the bathroom, Monica's room, and Rachel's room.

  • Season 2 Episode 17: The One Where Eddie Moves In

  • Goof: Ross is getting under Monica's skin because of his constant presence in her apartment, but you have to wonder why he and Rachel aren't spending all their time at his place. Who wants their sister and her boyfriend around all the time, especially in the early, extremely intimate stages of a relationship? Of course, if the characters on Friends behaved the way normal people do, there wouldn't be much opportunity for comic situations.

  • Goof: When Ross, Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe are watching the Smelly Cat video, a boom microphone is visible at the top of the screen.

  • Goof: In the coffeehouse when Joey is telling Monica and Phoebe about his and Chandler's talk last night, a microphone is visible for a few seconds.

  • Phoebe's Songs:
    "Smelly Cat" (Coffee House version)
Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.
They won't take you to the vet.
You're obviously not their favorite pet.
You may not be a bed of roses.
And you're no friend to those with noses.

    "Smelly Cat" (Video version)
Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.
Smelly smelly smelly really bad smelling smelly cat
     it's not your fault!
Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.
They won't take you to the vet.
You're obviously not their favorite pet.
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.
     Oh no!
You may not be a bed of roses.
You're no friend to those with noses.
I promise you, before we're done
all the world will smell as one.
Smelly smelly smelly really bad smelling smelly cat
     What are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.
Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.

  • Season 2 Episode 16: The One Where Joey Moves Out

  • Goof: As Ross, Monica, and Richard enter the Gellers' house and Ross calls out, "We're here!", a boom mike is clearly visible above his head.

  • Trivia: When Monica walks out of the bathroom following Jack and Judy, she mentions to Ross about a video she found of their parents having sex. This is a reference to "The One with the Prom Video."

  • Factual Error: Tattoos are supposed to be treated like wounds since the skin has been peirced, but Rachel's tattoo is neither dressed nor bandaged.

  • Continuity: Joey's age is not consistent. In this episode (1996) Joeys says he is 28. In "The One with the Birth" (1995) Joey says he is 25. In "The One with the Red Sweater" (2001) Chandler says Joey is 32.

  • Trivia: The song that was playing when Chandler and Joey hugged at the end was a part of the show's theme song, "I'll be there for you."

  • Continuity: Rachel's tattoo is never seen or referred to again.

  • Continuity: Joey says his new bathroom has mirrors on both sides of the toilet. However, "The One Where Eddie Moves In" shows that Joey's bathroom does not have mirrors.

  • Season 2 Episode 15: The One Where Ross and Ra...

  • Continuity: When Ross and Rachel are stargazing in the planetarium, Ross refers to a constellation as being Ursa Major. When Rachel says, "Really?", Ross says, "No idea--could be!"
Ursa Major, more commonly known as "The Big Dipper", is the most familiar constellation in the night sky. For someone like Ross, who has been interested in every aspect of science since he was a boy and even holds a doctorate, it is highly unlikely that he would have "no idea".

  • Goof: When Phoebe and Monica first enter Richard's apartment, they walk right into his kitchen and set up there for the catering event. During Richard's party, Richard opens one of the doors in the kitchen (the same one the girls entered through) and it opens to the party, not the hallway.
Note: There are two doors in Richard's kitchen. The knobless door behind Monica and Phoebe leads to the party, the other door is the one that the girls entered through.

  • Goof: When Chandler is ordering the pizzas, he tells the pizza place to deliver them to Apartment 20 - Geller/Green. He should know that neither Monica nor Rachel is home. At the time, Monica is catering and Rachel is on her date with Ross.
