Goof: In the tag scene Monica's winning foosball goal was made with a blue player. However if you look at where she is standing, she is the red team. The exact clip of her winning goal from earlier in the episode when she and Ross were the blue team, was inserted there.
Trivia: This is the first episode to mention Phoebe's career as a masseuse.
Continuity: The apartment numbers in this episode are 4 and 5 again. In the episodes before and after this episode, the numbers are 19 and 20. This must be another episode that was aired out of sequence.
Continuity: Monica's aunt didn't want the lasagnas because they weren't vegetarian. Although Phoebe is a vegetarian, she is sitting at the table helping Monica finish one of the lasagnas near the end of the episode.
Continuity: Chandler had a roommate named Kip before Joey moved in with him. Chandler says Kip ran off and got married. But in "The One With the Kips" we hear that Kip was phased out.
Continuity: In this episode Joey claims that it is okay for guys to kiss their friend's sister, but in "The One Where Chandler Can't Remember Which Sister", Joey clearly does not think it's okay.
Trivia: It is revealed in this episode that Rachel's middle name is Karen.
Phoebe's Song: "My Man"
You don't have to be awake to be my man.
As long as you have brainwaves
I'll be there to hold your hand.
Though we just met the other day,
there's something I have got to say...
Trivia: In the opening scene where Monica and Phoebe are walking to the newsstand, you can see one of Joey's VD posters from "The One Where Underdog Gets Away" in the alley.
Goof: At the restaurant Paolo eats something out of Rachel's hand, but in the next shot it's in her hand again
Continuity: Joey says that it wasn't easy for his mom to give birth to seven children, but with Joey plus his seven sisters, she had in fact given birth to eight children.
Phoebe's Songs: "Snowman"
I made a man with eyes of coal
and a smile so bewitchin'.
How was I supposed to know
that my mom was dead in the kitchen?
La lalala laaa la lala La lalala la la...
My mother's ashes, even her eyelashes,
are resting in a little yellow jar.
And sometimes, when it's breezy,
I feel a little sneezy, and now I...
Trivia: Chandler tells one of the party goers that he was bitten by a peacock. In a previous episode "The One with the Blackout", Phoebe mentions this incident saying she was the last to know when Chandler got bitten by the peacock.
Factual Error: Minsk is not, nor has it ever been, in Russia. Until 1991, it was in the USSR and presently, it's the capital of Belarus.
Continuity: Phoebe says that Ugly Naked Guy is pulling his turkey out of the oven. However, in future episodes when Ross moves into that apartment, the kitchen is behind a door and is not visible from Monica's apartment.
Continuity: In this episode, when Ross is talking to the fetus, he mentions that he took Palaeontology as a dare. However in several future episodes it is mentioned how much Ross loved dinosaurs and Palaeontology in his childhood.
Trivia: Apparently Monica and Rachel's apartment doesn't have working smoke alarms. When they finally get back in and everything is burnt, there's a lot of smoke in the air and no alarms to be heard.
Goof: After the food is burned, the group is sitting in front of the TV watching skiing. When Monica turns off the TV, two crew members are visible in the TV's reflection.
Continuity: During Monica's rant about dinner she said it is her first Thanksgiving, but in "The One with the Thanksgiving Flashbacks" she was making Thanksgiving dinner when Joey got his head stuck in a turkey.
Note: In the flashback, Monica says to Joey, "That turkey has to feed twenty people at my parent's house, and they're not gonna eat it off your head!" In other words, it is not Thanksgiving dinner at Monica's.
