NBC (ended 2004)

  • Season 10 Episode 3: The One with Ross's Tan

  • Continuity: There are a number of references to the fact that Rachel couldn't stop laughing when Ross first kissed her, but that isn't true. In "The One Where Ross and Rachel... You Know", she said she was laughing because, "Whoa! Ross's hands are on my butt!" The "kissing" had been fine up to that point.

  • Goof: Ross was instructed that after his front was sprayed, he should count to five, pat himself down to avoid drips, then turn. By the time he reached "...three Mississippi", the spray started again. In other words, even if he hadn't counted using "Mississippi", he still wouldn't have had time to pat himself down and turn before the second spray.

  • Trivia: The whole tanning procedure was obviously meant to generate a comic situation. Why wouldn't the instructions be, "After your front is sprayed, turn and pat yourself down and wait for your back to be sprayed." Why bother counting and patting before turning at all? And even if counting to five was necessary to give the tanning solution time to work before patting yourself down, it could still be done after you'd turned.

  • Goof: When Monica was mocking Amanda, Chandler asked her if she was trying to do a British accent. In the next shot we see part of Chandler and his lips are moving, but there's no sound.

  • Trivia: Rachel and Joey keep talking about how Chandler and Monica were able to go from friends to a couple and wondering why it wasn't weird for them. Rachel has done this too, except with Ross and besides her initial laughing when Ross was first kissing her, it wasn't at all weird for her and Ross to go from being friends to something more.

  • Trivia: In this episode Rachel and Joey returned home from dinner both thinking the other had paid. Rachel and Chandler did the same thing in "The One With All the Cheesecakes."

  • Goof: After Rachel talks to Chandler and Monica, Joey comes in. Rachel tells Joey that there's no problem, and they can leave. When they leave, the door stays open. However, when the camera angle turns to Chandler and Monica two seconds later, the door being closed is clearly audible.
Note: The sound of the closing door comes from Joey's apartment, not Chandler and Monica's.

  • Goof: When Monica said that Rachel couldn't stop laughing the first time she kissed Ross, she was referring to "The One Where Ross and Rachel... You Know," however the first time Rachel and Ross kissed romantically was in "The One Where Ross Finds Out."

  • Magna Doodle: The name "Emma" with a drawing of a teddy bear

  • Season 10 Episode 2: The One Where Ross Is Fine

  • Trivia: Ross burns his hands on two occasions in this episode from forgetting to wear oven mitts. Apparently, burning his hands is Ross's "thing". In "The One with the Inappropriate Sister", he burns himself from picking up one of the charred balls that Joey and Chandler were using to play "Fireball". In "The One with the Tea Leaves", he burns himself taking Mona's spare key from its hiding place above the hall lamp, and in "The One with the Lottery", he burns his hand rubbing a lamp, suggesting mockingly that maybe a Genie will appear to help them win the lottery.

  • Trivia: In this episode Frank Jr. and Phoebe talk about her taking one of the triplets. In "The One Hundredth" when the triplets were born, Phoebe asked Rachel to talk to Frank Jr. about the possibility of her getting to keep one.

  • Goof: At the end of previous episode, Ross opens the door and Rachel says "I'm so sorry" and pushes her breasts together. Although this episode begins with the same scene, he opens the door and they go straight into conversation instead.

  • Goof: When Monica and Chandler are at Bill and Colleen's house, Chandler has to go to the bathroom to wash his hands. Colleen says "The bathroom is down the hall, to your left", but as she says this, she points to the right with her thumb.

  • Factual Error: If Ross really was holding the sizzling fajitas like that for as long as he was without any gloves, he would be in the emergency room.

  • Season 10 Episode 1: The One After Joey and Ra...

  • Trivia: Monica is humming what she believes to be "Bolero" from the movie "10". Chandler corrects her, pointing out that it is "Ride of the Valkyries" from the movie "Apocalypse Now". This is an exact reversal of a scene from "The One in Vegas (2)", where Chandler begins humming what he believes to be "The Wedding March" and Monica corrects him, pointing out that it is in fact "The Graduation Song" (Pomp and Circumstance).

  • Goof: It is not possible for Monica, Chandler and Phoebe to hear what is happening in the room with Charlie and Ross. When Ross entered the room, the hallway corridor is visible.

  • Goof: When Ross asks Phoebe, Monica, and Chandler if they have seen Joey, the stage lights are visible at the top of the screen.

  • Continuity: In this episode Ross said that he has always considered Chandler his best friend, because of all their history. However, in "The One Where Emma Cries" he said that Joey is his best friend, while Chandler is his oldest friend.

  • Magna Doodle: A drawing of a baby kangaroo (labeled Joey) in its mother's pouch

  • Goof: When Rachel is going to tell Ross about her and Joey, while he's putting down Emma, she puts her purse on the table. In the next shot, she puts her purse down again.
