    And also because it's in honor of his WORK. As you said, he's a real person pretending very well to be someone else.

    And, it's time for a good actor to get nominated for a good part.

    Looks like our focus on the anagram on the chalkboard in Walter's alt-lab in the season finale were right (and our guess of the anagram was correct as well).

    From Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly (www.ew.com);

    Question: Do you have any scoop on Fringe? —Gena
    Ausiello:
    As foreshadowed by the chalkboard anagram in Walternate's lab in the season finale, Sam Weiss (a.k.a. actor Kevin Corrigan) will make an appearance or two (or more) in season 3.

    So, Emmy nominations are out. Once again the great Emmy people in the sky have failed to notice John Nobles work. Oh well, there is always next year. But Fringe did get a Nod in the Outstanding Sound Editing in a Series for the episode Tulip, up against true Blood (Beyond Here Lies Nothin'), Breaking Bad (One Minute), Lost (The End) (big shocker there), and 24 (4:00 am - 5:00 am). But I am happy because Warehouse 13 was nominated for their opening score (which is beautiful).

    On other news. I am excited for Sam Weiss to be coming back. I like the actor (cant think of his name right now) and was amused when he was first introduced. I cant wait to see what kind of mischief he must be up to if they are putting a warning like that in the show. And I also love them fact that he works in a bowling alley. Lots of fun.

    He's also taller than he appears to be.

    Something that came to me today. I really hope that in season three they go into the life of William Bell. I know that he is "gone" (You can never tell in a universe that J.J. Abrams had a hand in creating), but I feel like there is this huge whole of the things we know about this man.

    I mean, Walter, this wonderful scientist had the time and desire to have a family (however messed up it became). Did Belly ever fall in love? Did he have any children? Just because Walter hasn't mentioned it doesn't mean nothing happened. I really want to know more.

    Also, tvovermind.com published an article last December listing Walter Bishop as the #4 Best Character to surface in the past decade. I will ignore the fact that Ben Linus from Lost made it to #2. That man bugged me.

    Find myself needing an Astrid and Walter Fix. Going to go sit in a dark room fast forwarding through episodes to watch their banter. What a way to make up for a crappy day

    So, I was rewatching (and have been) season 1 this past week and I noticed something. In the episode "In which we meet Mr. Jones" Astrid shows Olivia a page of letters explaining the Caesar Shift. Most of the page is covered with the same letters that you see behind Peters face on the flyer the Observer gave to Olivia in "Over there, pt 2".

    Still, 64 more days :-(

    No spoiler or speculation or anything. Just not sure where to post this:

    Extra TV has named Fringe one of the best sci-fi shows of all time:

    Sebastian Roché has announced on his Twitter that he will be coming back in season 3 as Newton.

    (Also, he's guest starring on Supernatural, which makes me very happy.)
