Having known that Kyo (the Zodiac cat with the curse)
who had the cat of the Zodiac animals, having a vengeful spirit, because of the Zodiac rat who tricked him say that the party / race will take place the day after tomorrow....this was also sad....mind you i didn't cry for this bit....hehehehe....
Awwwwwwww Kyo's parents wasn't that very nice to him, but he loves his Master ever soooo much, awww he was there for them when noone was there for him....awww cute!
  • Emotional episode that brought me to tears. WE see Kyo's true form for the first tme and the aftermath and emotions that happened afterward.

This is one episode that really stuck to me after watching the series. Watching this episode it seems so out of place in the series in contrast to other episodes but is probably the most memorable episode in the series for it. We see Kyo as a child and he he became who he was and the constant use of silence through-out the episode and Tohru's reaction to what she had seen makes what i think, a tearjerker for more than a few people. It was very moving to watch.
  • This episode made me want to cry. sob

A lot of things happen in this episode. It was an excellent episode. It really gets into some detail about Kyo and the why he is the way he is. It makes you feel sorry for him. It is the type of episode where if you are eating something you keep getting so caught up in the episode that all you do is move your arm toward your mouth than you see something so you move it away. It is the type of episode that if you try to hold on to something by the end of the episode your nuckles are white.
  • Definitely not what one would expect.

I thought that this episode was amazing! It was so sad, like all hope was gone and everything was over. The happy life the series normally showed all disappeared. The sad setting, Akito's meeting with Tohru, everyone so unhappy, you couldn't help but start to break down into a fit of uncontrolled tears.

This episode definitely cannot be watched without the next episode to immediately follow. I can't watch it alone, seeing where it leaves off.

The loss of the usual feel you get in Fruits Basket made me have to go eat a huge sundae and listen to the world's most cheerful music. I really felt this was one of the saddest things I've watched and I'm pretty positive the majority of people would agree with me.
  • Didn't see THAT coming.

Okay, the "true form" thingy wasn't scary. It was just wierd. It doesn't really look like a cat (more like a bunny lol). I've seen scarier. But it still was a good episode. Another secret revealed! An unsuspecting purpose for Kyo's bracelet! But a few question: how did the cat from the legend get like that? Why does it look like a demented bunny? And how was it supposed to chase Tohru out of the house for good? It was strange and at the same time sad. What a shocker! If only there were more secrets like that! This is the most unsuspecting episode yet!
