That the last episode was a good episode but not a good series finale?

well the reason they had to use it as a serise finale, is because the guy who played jesse did'nt want to make any more episodes for some reason , well i thinks thats why im not 100% positive on it.... but yep i also agree.. bad very bad

They should have done it where Joey got a job doing a comedy tour. Jesse and his family move out. DJ goes to college. Danny falls in love. and so on and so on.

Yeah, the way they made the last episode made it look sorta cut off.

Just thought I'd let all of you know that the reason the "finale" didn't seem like much of a final episode was because it wasn't supposed to be.  The origional show was broadcast by ABC, but was going to (at the time) new WB and John Stamos (Jesse) didn't like the idea of having the show under a new network. So, he told everyone that the show would be his last.  Candace Cameron Bure (DJ) wanted to start college, so she told them that she would only be coming back for guest appearences.  With two people leaving the show, the rest of the cast felt that it was time to move on as well.  The Olson twins actually had no idea that it was to be the last show until the end of the day when they had their last curtain call. =(

Just thought I'd clear everyone up for the reasoning as to why it didn't look like a real finale. =D But I agree that they should have put something in there to close it better...but I still love the series all the same!!

I strongly agree. I like Michelle, but I didn't think it was right to have the finale revolve around her.

The one where she falls off the horse. I liked the last few lines. but come on it should have had happier endings. danny getting married, steve and dj married, steph highschool, michelle middle school, nicky and alex grade school. joey and jesse tours. it could have gotten much better.

i think it was okay but i thin kit would have been  better if they kept that episode in season 8 but not as the FINALE episode......i don't know why i jsut thin kit could have had a better ending like they all move house or move to another city or soemthing like most tv shows or maybe even steve and dj get married that would have been kool......
