I agree with Scream4lover1- this is my favorite episode from season 5 hands down! I loved watching all the antics at the movie theater, and I really liked the ending!

I liked this episode quite a bit. The eldest child usually is the one who is stuck watching their siblings. DJ who was just coming into her dating mode let her emotions take over her sense of right and wrong when a Steve comes to take her to the movies. So she takes the girls with them and they get caught sneaking into the theater with the help of Kimmy who just got a job there. When they get caught DJ convinces them to lie to Danny. The girls do fine but DJ caves when its time to lie to her dad. She tells him the truth.moreless
  • The more mature, book universe D.J. finds them a sitter

    7.4
This is just not my cup of tea. there were some funny moments, but I think - while I can understand some liking it - it would have been much better if she found a sitter and they wound up going from sitter to sitter. This just doesn't sound too responsible. Then again, maybe I was more responsible as a teen than most.

    • (after all 3 girls are grounded for the rest of the day)
Michelle: Does this mean no "Little Sea Lion"?
D.J.: (disappointed) No Little Sea Lion.
Michelle: That's the 2nd time I missed them today.

    • Danny: You do the crime, you do the time.

    • Stephanie: Okay, Michelle, we've got your candy, popcorn, mints, licorice, and of course, bon-bons.
      Michelle: You forgot the nachos.
Stephanie: Michelle, let's not be pigs.
D.J.: Hey, Steph, where's my change?
Stephanie: Change? If there was any money left, I would have bought nachos.

    • D.J.: Okay, we're going to the movies. Put on your coats and act adorable.
Michelle: I cannot leave this house. Dad said.
D.J.: Well, Dad's not here. I'm in charge. That makes me Dad.
Stephanie: Until the real dad comes back and makes you grounded.

    • Danny: Deej, I really owe ya one.
D.J.: Like, one red Mustang convertible?

    • (Michelle sniffles)
      Manager: Now, don't cry.
Michelle: I'm not crying, I've got the sniffles.
      (Michelle sniffles again)
Michelle: That was a good one.

    • Danny: Let's go to a movie. How about "The Littlest Sea Lion"? You girls seen that yet?
Stephanie: No, Dad, I can honestly say we haven't.

    • Manager: Now, why in the world would Kimmy Gibbler tell you you're the 1,000,000th customer? We've only been open a week.
Stephanie: Well, sir, I'm sorry to hafta tell you this, but you've hired a nutcase.

    • Kimmie: I could lose my job. They better not squeal on me.
      Stephanie: G-I-B-B-L-E-R, Gibbler.
