Apparently, Jesse plans the Disney World trip to celebrate his and Rebecca's wedding anniversary, but back in Season 4, they got married on Valentine's Day, and this is the season finale episode, and it's implied that it is right at the beginning of spring break for the kids. The timing is way off here.
The hotel the Tanner Family stays in is the popular (and pretty upscale) Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
In the opening scene, Michelle and Stephanie are fighting over some chocolates. When Danny grabs it, he says "Hold it, there are two candies here, okay?" But when Stephanie takes it back and Michelle grabs a piece, you can clearly see that there are actually three pieces of chocolate in the box.
In the Full House "E! True Hollywood Story" that airs on TV from time to time, the cast and crew talk about this particular 2-part episode. Series creator Jeff Franklin discussed how popular the show had become by that time and how Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) came out of the bathroom crying because some hard-core fans followed her in. According to Franklin, this was a point where they really realized how much they would need to protect the cast members, especially the kids.
The scene where Michelle rubs the magic lamp and the genie appears was shot in Disneyland, not Disney World. There are a few shots here and there between both episodes where for budget and time, scenes were shot in California.
We hear how D.J. hallucinated seeing Captain Hook, Robin Hood and Mary Poppins looking like Steve. With Mary Poppins, it's entirely impossible, and a very extremely stupid experience, and how could she imagine Robin Hood and Captain Hook looking like Steve? Both those characters (especially Robin Hood) are done by people wearing character head-masks, unlike Aladdin and Prince Charming and Mary Poppins, which are "face-characters" (ones that do not wear masks.)
Danny: Vicky, after seeing you just now, I realize more than ever how kind and gentle you really are. No, I'm serious. I mean, you're so wonderful, even the birds love you! Vicky: Well, it does help to have a handful of birdseed in your pocket.
Vicky: I can't believe Jesse would do something like that. Danny: Scuba dive? Vicky: Get his hair wet. (they laugh) Danny: You're funny, too. You're.....you're everything. You're perfect. Vicky: Could you call and tell my mother that?
D.J.: Isn't this incredible, Steph? Our little sister is gonna have all her dreams come true. Stephanie: What else is new?
Danny: (takes attendance at the Disney hotel) All right, Jesse, Nicky, Alex, Becky, Kimmy, D.J., Joey, Steph, Michelle. Wait a minute! Where's Macaulay Culkin? (laughs) Just a little joke there.
Lamp Seller: Princess Michelle, what is the first of your 3 wishes? Michelle: I wish for peace on Earth. Kimmy: Boring! Michelle: Okay, I got one. I wish we can go on any ride, and not wait in line. Lamp Seller: (laughs) Your first wish is granted! And, princess, be sure to come back this afternoon to Main Street, where you will ride on a float in our big parade! Michelle: No way! Lamp Seller: (laughs) Way! Michelle: This is unreal!
Danny: Vicky, I... Waitress: Mr. Tanner, you have a phone call. Danny: Of course I do. Figures. (picks up the phone) Danny: Hello? (he hears the bad news) Danny: WHAT?! (to Vicky) Michelle's lost. (to phone) We'll be right there!
Rebecca: You got 1,000,000 things to do. I mean, even Superman couldn't pull off your schedule. Jesse: Superman was a wimp. I mean, think about it. The guy wears his underwear over his tights.
Danny: I'm so jazzed that Vicky's flying in to see us. Stephanie: Are you gonna ask Vicky to marry you, Dad? Danny: I don't know. You know, I've been drivin' myself crazy just thinkin' about it. What I'm gonna do is, I'm just gonna follow my heart and just bypass my brain entirely. Kimmy: I never use my brain. Trust me. After a while, you won't even miss it. Stephanie: Can't miss what you never have.
D.J.: Michelle? Michelle! Stephanie: She's gone! Kimmy: You better go tell your dad. Let me know how he takes it. D.J.: Kimmy! We just lost our little sister!
Kimmy: (after Michelle wins the title of "Princess for the Day") Hey, blondy, that was supposed to be your turn. Stephanie: Really? I didn't notice.
Danny: Wait a minute, where's Macaulay Culkin? Macaulay Culkin was a very popular child actor who made his big break when he starred in the first two Home Alone movies.
Title The title for this episode, The House Meets the Mouse, might partially be a pun on the phrase "House of Mouse," a nickname usually used to refer to the Walt Disney Company.
Stephanie: "Women who hallucinate in theme parks" on the next Oprah She is referring to the popular talk show Oprah, hosted by Oprah Winfrey.
Stephanie: And Chucky was just a doll. "Chucky" was a somewhat evil and very dangerous doll posessed by the spirit of a madman killed in a fire. He appeared in the movies, Child's Play 1-3, The Bride of Chucky, and The Seed of Chucky.
As D.J. travels through the park, she keeps imagining all the male costume characters look like her boyfriend Steve, and the first one she sees is Aladdin. Scott Weigner, the actor who plays Steve, was the voice of Aladdin in the animated Disney film, as well as the cartoon series spinoff.
