  • Sousuke has trouble with his homework, so Kaname lets him study her notes. The next day he forgets to bring her notebook to class,so they decide to go back to his place, get the notebook, and come back. Simple enough, right? Not when Sousuke's involved...moreless

This was hands down my favorite episode of the Fumoffu series. There were so many hilarious parts in it, including a pissed off and freaked out Kaname, Sousuke getting thrown in front of the taxi, the slow elevator, the run-away taxi driver, the crazy police officer, the wrong train schedule, and finally at the end...well, I won't spoil everything for you! Basically, what should have been a simple enough mission (go in, get the notebook, and get out) turned into an all-out adventure due to Sousuke's crazy but well meaning antics. This episode wasn't all humor, though. There were some romantic parts between our favorite couple. As it was a perfect balance between comedy and romance, I give this episode a perfect 10!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Goof: When Sousuke thinks about that book, he thinks about helicopters and the battleship Yamato.
The battleship sunk in 1945 and the shown helicopters are obviously US helicopters type Black Hawk, which where first built in the late 1970's. So this picture doesn't match up because of the timeline difference.

    • Kaname uses the "Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex Hold" to throw Sousuke to the ground.

    • Fans might recognize the Japanese voice actor of Akiko Hiramatsu, who voiced the insane policewoman Yoko Wakana, who chases down Sousuke and Kaname. Akiko starred in the anime TV series You're Under Arrest series as Miyuki Kobayakawa, a policewoman who also happens to drive a small patrol car, but her demeanor on that show isn't as crazy.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Kyoko: And you were mistaken as a molester?
Shinji: So the lady in the room sprayed you with insecticide instead of the roach?
Sousuke: That's correct. Its effect was greater than tear gas.

    • Kaname: (Lending him her notebook) Don't worry about it. Just accept this favour.
Sousuke: I shall borrow it, then. Thank you.
Kaname: Do your best. But be sure to give it back tomorrow.
Shinji: She sure seems to be in a good mood.
Kyoko: Did her constipation go away?

    • (their taxi didn't wait for them)
Kaname: You told him to wait, right?
Sousuke: Yes, I told him that I would kill him if he ran away. I showed him my gun as well.
