Mitsuki's Feelings - Meroko's Feelings
AIRED:
Izumi tells Mitsuki and Meroko about a way to prevent Takuto from becoming a ghost. There is a mystic lily known as the Flower of Forgetfulness. If he were to touch it on his lips, not only would Takuto lose his memories from when he was a human, but he will also forget about being a Shinigami. Most of all, he will forget Mitsuki and Meroko.moreless

  • Izumi starting to open up more?

    8.3
Izumi asked that if Mitsuki was really serious about her giving him her soul in order to prevent Takuto from being a ghost, she should kiss him. However, after being bothered by her close relationship with Takuto, he confesses and tells her he has no methods of keeping Takuto as a shinigami. Meroko on the otherhand, searches through plenty of old books on how to heal the situation. She didn't realize that human remedies won't have any effect on shinigamis. When Mitsuki and Meroko were thinking of ways to help Takuto, Izumi did his own research and discovered a flower that will make anyone forget their memories. However, the drawback is the Takuto will also forget his memories even after he died, meaning the fun experiences he had with Meroko and Mitsuki will be thrown into the abyss. Meroko struggles to get it anyways. She was barely able to even touch it, but succeeds in the end.

Lacking compared to the superiority of the past episodes, but still a good fix. The only thing that I didn't like about this episode was how Mitsuki pulled off a corny act and sang for Meroko as she tried grabbing the forgetful flower. It was just way too corny. Yeah Meroko made it, but that made it even more corny! Everything was way too convenient to make the success satisfying. Though other than that, I'm starting to like Izumi. His personality is starting to change because of the unique exposure from trying to manipulate Meroko and Mitsuki. I don't like him entirely yet, but he is starting to become a more likeable character. However, I'd still be pissed if he ends up being with Meroko in the end.moreless
