Breakfast
AIRED:
Jesse and her father gathered up these products that they made themselves to serve for breakfast: Sunshine in a Glass (just slice the oranges in half, and then press them one at a time on the juicer and serve it in a glass) Groovy Grapefruit (just cut out punk and white grapefruits in half, and slice the inside of the grapefruit to make it easier to remove/scoop out. Cut up green and red grapes, which you then stick in grapefruits to make different faces and designs) Shakin' Bacon (just place up to 6 slices of bacon on 2 layers of paper towel and cover it with another layer of paper towel. Microwave on high for about 1 minute for each slice, and cook it more if the bacon is not crispy enough, and for the finishing touches, put maple syrup on the back bacon) Cyclone scrambled Eggs (just crack an egg into a small microwavable b15mL of milk, and the desired amount of salt and pepper. Beat again the mixture, and place the bowl in the microwave. Cook on high for 1 minute, when it is done, remove the bowl and stir the eggs a little and place it back into the microwave and cook on high for another minute) Here is a more detailed instruction to produce Pancakes: 1cup or 375ml of whole wheat flour ½cup or 125ml of oatmeal 2tsp or 10ml of baking powder ¼tsp or 1ml of baking sod 1/3cup or 75ml of sugar 2 eggs 1½cups or 375ml of milk 2tbsp or 30ml of canola oil Instructions Place the whole wheat flour, oatmeal, baking powder, and baking soda in a mixing bowl and stir. Then, place the eggs, milk, and oil in a small bowl and beat them well with a whisk. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and beat together until all the lumps are gone. Let it stand for 30 minutes or more in the fridge. Pour a little oil in a frying pan, over medium heat and with a spoon, pour a little batter into the pan. When bubbles appear on the top of the pancake, turn it with a spatula. When the pancake is brown on the bottom, remove it from the pan and carefully wipe the pan with paper towel and add a little oil for the next pancake.moreless
