A "Seriously Swiss Cheese Fondue" was made using thew following ingredients: 2cups or 500ml of pple juice or white grape juice 2lbs. or 1 Kg of Gruyère or Emmental cheese (or ½ of each) 2tsp or 10ml of cornstarch 1tbsp or 15ml of lemon juice A pinch of salt A pinch of nutmeg A pinch of pepper 1 clove of garlic (optional) 1 loaf of bread, cut into 3-4cm (1 ½-2 inch) cubes or by hand Afting obtaining these items, grate the cheese, rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic clove, and pour in the apple or white grape juice. Bring the mixture to a boil, while slowly add the grated cheese to the juice, about ¼ at a time, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Then, add lemon juice and while dissolving the cornstarch in cold water and then stir into mixture. Stir over very low heat until smooth and slightly thickened. Season to taste with salt, white pepper and hint of nutmeg. Jesse and her Father created a "Mouth-wateringly Melty Chocolate Fondue" using 1 lb. or 500 g. of semi-sweet chocolate and 1 1/2 cup or 400ml of 35% cream. To make it, bring cream to a boil and pour it on the chopped chocolate. Stir the mixture until thick and smooth and serve with bananas, apples, strawberries, oranges, and plums cut into bite size.moreless
