Episode Summary

Bender's Big Score Part 2
This part begins with Bender saying what has previously happened on part 1, and then goes to Nudar testing the new time sphere, and comes back with a clone of himself from yesterday. The clone gets killed, resolving the paradox because the code Bender had was a paradox fixing code. Bender is sent into it to steal values from Earth's past, and he destroys New York from 2038, shoving Fry in the cryogenic freezer. Meanwhile Farnsworth wants to sell his doomsday devices except for the Spheroboom, and handcuffs it to himself. Bender saws Farnsworth's hand, stealing the Spheroboom, and Zoidberg sews Farnsworth's hand on, and Hermes wants the same for his body from the past, but it is put on backwards. Next the globetrotters and the professor are talking about how this code is possible to time travel, and the scammers try to destroy Fry, in case he memorized the code. The scammers send Bender to the year 2000 to kill Fry, and Bender thinks he does after blowing up Panucci's Pizza.moreless
  • Part 2 of the 4-Part episode "Bender's Big Score"

Part 2 was definitely better than Part 1. No weak or boring scenes and the story to this whole 4-Part episode is getting more funnier and more interesting. I also love how Part 2 showed some things that we saw in the past episodes such as Seymour (Fry's dog) from the episode "Jurassic Bark" and also Fry's brother who has son named "Phillip Fry" as shown from the episode "The Luck of the Fryish" (the end of the episode). It was also interesting that we saw a background of the shooting while Fry was frozen. The writers were just keeping everything well-paced and awesome. Not one boring or weak scene. Everything in Part 2 was fantastic with some funny parts. The last 5-6 minutes of the episode with Bender trying to find Fry but it has been 11 months and still couldn't find him was funny. Bender's lines in this episode were just hilarious especially when he said "Oh, I can see why she dumped him for you?" when he was asking everyone to show their butts to see if they had a "Bender" tattoo on their butt or not. The character development with Fry being upset because Leela is dating that Lawrence character is also very good. Overall, Part 2 is better than Part 1 and the story was well-paced and original with some funny parts and some great action scenes. 10/10moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Hermes('s head) asks Bender to go back in time a few days and bring him his body before it was decapitated. While this worked for the art and such that Bender went back in time to steal, it makes no sense for Hermes' body. Once Bender decapitated Hermes, his body would have started to die and decay, so it would not have been viable a few days later; at least not without being frozen, which Bender was not shown to do (especially since Bender waited in the basement for time to pass, which is fine for art, but not a decapitated body).
