In The Lesser Of Two Evils, Flexo was able to carry chlorine in his stomach. Flexo is the same type of robot as Bender. But in this episode Bender starts rusting when he is touched by chlorine. How come chlorine has different effects on Bender and Flexo?
(edit) It was stated that Bender has an nickel impurity. Bender's impurity might have acted as a catalyst for the chemical reaction. It's also possible that Flexo sprayed the chlorine from a device inside him that was sheilded from the gas.
