Whenever I re-watch Futurama I can't help but notice how dramatically Bender's voice changes. Somewhere between seasons 2 and 3 the voice becomes huskier, louder and more in-your-face. I love Bender but this always really bothers me. I can't help but wish that the voice stayed the same as it was in the first season. To me, he was just way more likable and the comedic timbre was also better. Anyone else agree???

I noised all the characters voices are more established over time. Especially Homer Simpson in the Simpsons. Guess its like fine wine. You have young wine but its worth more if it has a few years behind it.

I noticed that too in the first couple seasons of the show. Glad I'm not the only one...lol. I thought maybe the there was a different voice over actor in the first two seasons, then another actor took over the voice/role of Bender.

nope, it was always the same voice actor (john dimaggio).

he just changed the way to dubb bender. maybe to carve out benders husky personality.

Long as its the original voice actor, the voice differences whether because of software est, doesn't matter to me.
