After hearing a familar sound, the planet express crew travel into frys dreams. This episode is an emotional episode, as Fry is having a hard time trying to find the sound because he misses his family and dog.

It was sad and happy. There were very few funny parts. This felt like a series finale. :/

Very Good. Everytime we go back to 1999 I feel sad for Fry

I rank this second to Jurrasic Bark. It was that good.

It had a good story, but I found the whole plot about finding the missing ship a bit of a let down. I do like seeing more interactions with the dog. Poor thing. I'm glad they had a resolution to let his mom know why he's gone. This ranks #3 on the tearjerker list after Jurassic bark and the one where hermes had to protect bender from being killed (season 6 ep).

They needed to end it off with a fry and mother type episode before the series ended, as there was one with Seymour (Jurassic Bark), one with Yancy (The Luck Of The Fryish) and a episode about him and his dad (Cold Warriors). 1000 years in the future and these show how much he still miss his family.
