I agree entirely with BundyX75, the episode being labeled 100th episode should've made it something special.

To me it seemed like the writers didn't care at all about that fact and just phoned it in. If this was a regular filler episode that might've been forgivable.

In my opinion "The Late Philip J. Fry" should have been the season finale, it had everything this episode didn't have, for one an Epic feel to it, for second unbelievably funny.

Okay, it was a good episode, a great milestone 100th. One of the higlights IMO was a Hermes' answers to Fry's lines like:

Fry: I feel bad for Leela

Hermes: You SHOLUD fell bad for Leela!

Fry: I feel like if it was my fault

    Hermes: It WAS your fault!

Fry: I think we should do sth about it!

Hermes: We SHOULD do sth about it!

Fry: Shut up Hermes, I don't care what you say, we are doiing sth about it.

Hermes: You DO care about what I say!

And later... Mayor: You could be punnished for havign a mutant living ileegally abouve surface

Hermes: We DID have a mutant living illegally above surface! Oh oh...

Perhaps the creators felt it wasn't the true 100th episode? Since it includes the movies (at least, that's what I think was being said here...I skimmed)

I've gota feeling that you might be right. I've gotta say that the Movies have always been movies to me and never indevidual episodes. Because they were long stories and released to DVD as Movies NOT episodes. There isn't even a Season 5 boxset, it's called the 4 Futurama movie boxset. That says something. They didn't count asepisodesin the Broadcastseasons. Which is why Idon't think this should have been the 100th Episode. And now that I've seen it, I wish it never had been...

But we can all say it was better than Family Guy's 150th special, right?

Yeah, but unfortunately not Family Guy's 100th episode Special. I hope that they do a wink to the audience when the actual 100th episode is shown but not celebrated in the episode, I hope there's a wink to the audience and a good one.

100 is more of a milestone number anyway. Why? What was bunk about Family Guy's 150th thing?

Meh. Personally I've almost thought the 183rd episode was much more something to get excited about. They should do some sort of Episode Spectacular thing when/if that comes around.

Futurama fans all have their opinions, and they are the true voters. The reception is medium.

I missed the episode on the night of it's debut on account of I was sick. I caught the episode the week after! It was an awesome way to end a fun and satisifing season 6. I liked all the episodes expect for the App one and the one about Lrrr. Who knew Bender can jettison in far distances? The whole episode was fun from beginning to end! The mutant revolt reminded me of the Arizona Immigration law. Bender's party was funny and so was the land Titanic where we learn Leela has a grandmother! Fry turning into a mutant was cool, too! Leela was dynamite in it. Sure made up for her being Lrrr's and Fry's punching bag in the episode before. I give it 5/5!

Anyway, I do have 83% hope the next season will be better than this one. If not, then hopefully the last episode can give a great farewell to it.

The bad thing about this Season was that in every Futurama season there's at leased 1 bad episode but the rest be golden. Where as this Season only had about 5 really great or at leased just good episodes.

This one had about 8 good episodes, and 4 just didn't work right. Kind of the same for season 5, 16 episodes made, 12 were great, and 4 of them weren't that great. And I mean the movies.
