    Futurama would still be airing on Fox if Rupert Murdoch didn't get his way.

    Impossible! Family Guy humor is fundamentally different than Futurama. Futurama humor will never be "brainless".

    Hey guys I found this thing from"GotFuturama with Matt Groening

    :
    iF: Will Fox put the newepisodes on there network like FAMILY GUY?

    GROENING: It's going to be on Comedy Central, starting at the beginning of 2008 and I don't know. Fox has an option, who knows. I hope so, that would be nice.
    What he means is after they come to Comedy Central he wants them to be on FOX for people who don"t have Comedy Central

    Just FYI.

    According to someone claiming to be Maurice LaMarche, the 4 movies are titled:

    1 = Bender's Big Score (Release Date: December 4, 2007)

    2 = The Beast With A Billion Backs

    3 = Bender's Game

    4 = Into The Wild, Green Yonder

    He posted on Futurama's imdb.com board the titles of the 4 movies and the release date of the first.

    Very few, if any, decent programs will be safe as long as Rupert Murdoch runs the News Corporation.

    I've had my hopes raised and then crushed so many times before, that I'm just going to wait and see what happens. If there are going to be DVD movies coming out, I'm definitely buying them. If not, I'll keep watching all the old episodes until I'm 97 years old and still laugh at them.

    Amen to this!

    But the more likely outcome is that Futurama is coming back.

    It's going to be the best thing EVER!

    Well, Bender's Big Score was supposed to come out around Xmas and the expected date now is December 4th 2007. I don't have any site to prove this but ask degrassiZIMfan who mentioned it. Until then, I'll keep it as expected date, rather than confirmed. Hopefully it comes out in Aus soon afterwards.

    Someone had an ear malfunction. It's 16, not 60. But it would be cool!

    They did not mean 60. It's the 16 movie episodes. A cancelled show would never get 60 new episodes before they test (in this case the dvd movies) audiences.
