I just thought of something... wouldn't be cool if they created an episode where Fry and Futurama gang went back into time, the day after fry got frozen and the Futurama gang had to conform to the 21st century life, meet Fry's parents, etc...? Just for one episode or make it a 2 parter....

Didnt they already do that in "Roswell that Ends Well"? Albiet 50 or so years outside of that description. Ofcourse this show has reused its own storylines before (with a hint of change to it), so its possible

They've had numerous episodes where travel back in time, Roswell That Ends Well, Bender's Big Score, The Late Philip J. Fry, but in Bender's Big Score, Bender was stuck in the 21st Century for 12 years, and so was Fry and he did indeed see his family again and Seymour. Although he was unhappy when he was back in time because of the whole Lars thing and then of course he discovered that *SPOILER* He was Lars. So Bender's Big Score kinda covered that with Fry.
But I do think it would be good if the entire Planet Express crew (apart from Fry) went back in time to the day after Fry got frozen. Because then they'd all be clueless and Fry wouldn't be there to help them...

Eh, the plot doesn't sound very great in my opinion.

I'd like to see the Futurama gang go back in time to meet The Simpsons. Both are Groenig's, so, licensing shouldn't be an issue

It would be like in "the Flintstones meet the Jetsons" which Bart by the way criticized in the Simpsons episode "A Star Is Burns" for being a cheap crossover. so that's probably a no go in the Groening universe.

Him saying that was taking a shot at themselves as Jay from The Critic was on that episode so if they had a Simpsons / Critic crossover wouldn't really be a strecth to have a Futurama one.

They already did a cross over story in the comics which turned out good, but to me should be kept in the comic books and not into the tv world
