I am asking this due to how bad the last three movies sucked, and how "Family Guy" truly sucked when it returned. Also, "The Simpsons" used to be funny in the era "Futurama" was on, but now that has started sucking. What do you guys think?

I hope it's good. Leela and Zapp...alone...on a planet. Should be hilarious.

I don't think the Films were bad, I only thought TBWBB was crap. But other than that, seeing the films being a great success I have complete faith in the upcoming seasons.

the only one I am worried about is the one with bender and amy, it will ruin the kif and amy relationship, its out of character for bender, and its written by micheal rowe(worst writer of futurama)

I love the leela and zapp episode idea. lets keep our fingers crossed that it will be just as good.

The way that Family Guy was going, it was going to burn itself out eventually(which it did), The Simpsons started to sucked around the same time Futurama started, but I have confidence in Futurama. There is still enough rich material out there to poke fun of, I give it at least 2 years before it starts to suck, unless they bring in writers that have presided over the decline of the Simpsons.

Suddenly, I have an urge for suckling pig!
    Or a lollipop!
Whichever one requires the most sucking!

Seriously, though, artist/producer Matt Groening doesn't do much writing these days, instead choosing to do what others in his position have done: swim in a sea of money! "The Critic" (another Groening creation) died to its one tragic flaw: It was intelligent sarcasm aimed straight for Hollywood. "Futurama" started out the same way, but became aimless after Groening handed the reins over to the writers and other producers. I'm not sure why the actors, who may not be comic geniuses, but should, by now, know what works for their show, haven't tried to help (or, perhaps, they have to disastrous result!).

Regardless, it's just a cartoon, and, if the slow disappearance of such on the eponymous "Cartoon Network" is any indication, it seems that the broadcasters, if not the audience, are growing tired of toons rife with in-jokes and obvious political satire. Think of it this way: Would "South Park" or "Futurama" be funny if live actors were used? If the "Ben 10" series is any indication - - where it went from toon to live action - - the answer is "no". So, be amazed, if not entertained, that any such show lasts as long as it does!

Futurama will stay the same as it always has been! There was speculation of changes to the show before the movies came out, and it never happened. As for the movies, I liked the first three, but the last one was crap.

after just watching Bender's Game and laughing my butt off, I can safely say that I have faith that Futurama will be as good as it's always been when it returns for the full season

Hopefully it will be the same. Most shows usually go stale after awhile, like Family Guy which has in the last few years been more political. That's a turn off for me. Spongebob on the other hand has remained the same, in a sense true to the characters on the show. Characters bios have stayed the same. Well only time will tell of the new futurama coming back!!11!
