    in this episode, we meet such famous characters in the futurama series, such as zap brannigan, kif kroker, and nibbler, all who become rather popular characters, especially later on in the series with moments like kif dating amy.

    this is a pretty good episode, but zap is kind of annoying and his annoyance does not always make me laugh. but still a decent episode with some fair amount of funny parts. my overall grade would be a low A, it still is worthy of an A, but it is not one of my favorites like other episodes I'd give A's toomoreless

    This episode is absolutely hilarious and some hilarious parts are when Zapp said destroy that ship but started staring at his arm and when Kiff and Zapp where climbing a ladder and Kiff saw zapp's penis and was disgusted at the sight of it. Also it was very funny when Zapp orders Kiff around and Kiff groans and gets really annoyed and it was very funny when Kiff was escourting Leela to Zapp and Kiff said he wants you to wear this and lifts up a very revealing set of clothes. Overall because of how funny so many characters where is why this episode is so funny and very memorable.moreless

    This episode is great. It marks the first appearances of Zapp Brannigan, Kif Kroker, and, drumroll please... NIBBLER! It is very funny, as are all episodes, though not quite as clever as most of the shows episodes are, in my opinion. It was still a great episode, and very easy to remember, and fun to watch. Its rewatch value is very high.

    Professor Farnsworth sends Fry, Leela, and Bender to save endangered animals from a collapsing planet. They get into the ship, and run into none other than the world (or galaxy) famous Zapp Brannigan, and his assistant, Kif. Zapp shows great interest in Leela, which ends in the two having sex, though Leela hates him.moreless

    The Planet Express crew are sent on a mission to rescue the indigenous creatures of planet collapsing due to the extensive mining of the dark matter core. Their efforts are hindered by Zapp Brannigan who throws the crew in his ships brig when he discovers their plan. Leela goes to his quarters to plead to him to let her continue on her mission only to find Zapp has only one thing on his mind. Pitying him Leela ends up sleeping with Zapp which turns out to be an ongoing theme of Zapp trying to sleep with her again.
    Through this episode we see the introduction of three new characters Zapp, Kiff and Nibbler.moreless

    Professor Farnsworth tells Fry, Leela, and Bender that their next mission is to save some animals from a doomed planet. Leela, being a softy for animals, is excited about saving the animals on the doomed planet. Once they get there, they run into a problem named Zap Brannigan. Leela likes Zap at first, but this will change later in the episode. She asks him for help saving the animals and he promptly locks them in the brig. He then summons Leela to his quarters to have a discussion. She thinks it's about the mission, but Zap has something else on his mind.moreless
