The piano tune played during Leela's and Fry's honeymoon is Chopin's Etude Op.10, No.3.
In the episode "Bender's Big Score" Another Fry spends the next 12 years after the year 2000 with his family and dog. However when Fry visits his mom's dream it is after he left and his mom states that she missed him a lot, even though another Fry was with her for 12 years after he went to the future
Finn And Jake From Cartoon Network's "Adventure Time" made a cameo. Jake spoke saying "What Time Is It?"

All of the bunk beds have the owner's surname on them except for Leela's, which has her given name.
It was established in When Aliens Attack (Season 2) that Omicron Persei 8 is about 1000 light years from Earth (the Omicronians were receiving a television show from 1999 in 3001). Yet, in this episode, when Earth embargoes Omicron Persei 8, Earth television is immediately cut off.
When the Professor finishes his race with the crew, a Bender poster Bender put up around town in a previous episode is shown
The complex casino heist scheme developed by Amy is reminiscent of 1960's film Ocean's Eleven and its contemporary remake/sequels.
Hermes rehires himself and is then hugged by Zoidberg, which causes him to drop his "rehired" stamp. You can see that the word "rehired" on the stamp is not mirrored, which it would have to be in order to print the word correctly.
When the camera pans to Professor you can hear Bender say bitch,in fact Bender actually said "Son of a bitch!" because he ended up back in the same room when he left the other way.
Bender is the third person to add a drop of cyanide to the Death Wheel (the first two being Hermes and Fry), meaning two drops were already on the blades when they sliced up the salad ingredients. When Farnsworth eats the salad later, the cyanide should have killed him.
In this episode we learn for the first time that Mom's first name is "Carol", and that Zoidberg is the only character she has never yelled at or criticized, but actually admires.

The 4th Doctor (played by Tom Baker) is one of the people Leela (which is the name of one of the 4th Doctor's companions) releases from the whale.
Zoidberg time-travels by drinking the "head-juice", however in A Leela of Her Own, Hank Aaron the 24th drank some head-juice and nothing happened.
The opening cartoon is from 1936 - "The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg". It's the first of three Rainbow Parade cartoons featuring Felix the Cat.
When Fry climbs out of a window of the Land Titanic, a can of Angry Norwegian Anchovies can be seen on the floor. This is reference to the sixth episode of the first season, in which Fry ate the supposedly very last can of anchovies.
When Fry, Leela and Lrrr visit Orson Welles in the Head Museum, you can see the following heads in jars on the top shelf (L to R): Raquel Welch, Lawrence Welk, Frank Welker (legendary voice actor, also voice of Nibbler), Paul Weller; and on the bottom shelf (L to R): Peter Weller, Orson Welles, Dawn Wells and H.G.
