  • Another great episode from a strong series.

Kif goes to Amy's home on Mars to meet her parents. They immediately dislike him saying he's too much of a wimp. Native Martians rustle away the family buggalo because they feel they got cheated when they traded away their land in exchange for a bead. Trying to prove himself, Kif volunteers to get them back. He does, but loses Amy in the process.

This episode had so very funny moments that were original. A good episode to say the least. Maybe not the best episode in the whole entire series, but still an episode that will be remembered as part of the Futurama series.
  • Kif gets a chance to prove to the Wongs that he is worthy to date their daughter.

The crew are invited to the Wong Place for the Mars Day celebrations and Amy invites Kif along so that he can be introduced to her parents. The Wong's take an instant disliking to him perceiving him as weak and indecisive.

When the Wong's cattle are stolen Kif seizes the opportunity to prove himself by leading the party to regain the herd. Kif discovers that the herd was stolen by the native people of Mars who believe they got the short end of the stick back when the land was purchased from them for a single bead. When the bead turns out to be a huge diamond and they are made aware of the stones astronomical value, they agree to return the herd to the Wongs.
  • This is a sweet episode.

This episode is a really funny episode. Kif is actully funny for once.

The whole crew goes to Amy's parents house for Mars day. Amy's parents own the whole planet. The native martian's used to own it but they traded it for a bead. Amy's parents own about three million buggalo (Buggalo is an animal that's kind of like lady bugs and kind of like cows). Amy has a buggalo named Betsy. Amy introduces Kif to his parents. They have instant dislike of him. Kif tries to impress them a lot, but he does not sucseed. Then there is a huge dust storm and all the buggalo disappear. Kif decides to get the buggalo back to impress Mr. and Mrs. Wong. Kif finds the buggalo. They are in a volcano. He blows them out. Then another dust storm comes and the native martians are in it. They take Amy because they want to get even for the Wongs ripping them off along time ago. That's why the buggalo disappeared in the previous dust storm. When Kif gets back to the ranch, he tells the Wongs. They are mad at Kif, so they get Zapp Branigan to help Kif. Fry, Leela and Bender go with them. Betsy follows Kif the whole time. The native martians live inside Mars. Kif, Zapp, Leela, Bender and Fry go inside the entrance. When they get there, Kif starts flying Betsy. The martians let Amy go because they think that Kif is a native martian too because native martians are the only people that can fly Buggalo. They offer him a smoke from there peace pipe. He does and then he coughs. The native martians get really mad because he coughed at there peace offering. They are going to crush him to death with the bead that they traded for Mars. The bead is actully a huge diamond. Bender tells them that it's worth a fortune and they let Kif go. Then they buy a new planet and pretend that it's sacred. Amy's parents still don't like Kif, but Amy does.

    I give this episode a 9.5 out of 10.
  • Introduction of the Wongs' property and extended family.

This episode was okay with great scenes regarding the buggalo but doesn't have much continuity, Amy's parents originally setting Amy and Kif up back in Season 1 and now hating him in this episode.
The fact that the natives didn't realise what the diamond was worth, making the whole episode pointless was kind of annoying but was funny at the same time.
Zapp's advice to Kif "the quickest way to a girl's bed is through her parents. Have sex with them, and your in" is a classic Zapp line and having said that, any episode starring the legendary Zapp Brannigan is not going to be a disappointment.
