Gadget Boy and Heather

Show Summary

In this prequel to Inspector Gadget, we follow the adventures of Inspector Gadget as a kid, named Gadget Boy. In this series, Gadget Boy's arch-nemesis is Spydra, a spider-woman who is always admiring herself. With the help of G-9 and Heather, Gadget Boy can always foil the evil Spydra's plot, sometimes even by accident. This series later inspired a spin-off: Gadget Boy's Adventures In History, which featured the same voice cast, and the maniacal Spydra.

  • Cool!

I don't get why so many people hate this show ?
  • Call me cynical, but I didn't like the original Inspector Gadget, and I thought very similar to Gadget Boy - idiotic characters bug me.

Getting the wrong bad guy, not really understanding that they're there to work - it's the exact same storyline to Inspector Gadget, but set a few years earlier. As with Inspector Gadget, I practically wanted the bad guys to win.

My favourite part of the show, however, is Tara Strong as Heather, but I'm probably biased as I am a Tara Strong fan. Heather was no where as annoying as Penny was. G9 was quite funny as well, better than Brain was, at any rate.

I was also impressed by the bad guys. I thought Boris was hilarious, and was always curious as to what was actually underneath Spidra's mask - as with Claw, it's a shame that we weren't shown what they actually looked like in the last episode.moreless
  • A complete waste of my time

This show is just basically a spin off of Inspector Gadget. I mean, it is not all bad, but the stories are just mildly intersting and the enemies are fairly passable.

For me though it just does not cut the mustard so to speak as far as the stories, the animation and humour etc. The worst thing is that CN show it for 4 hours a night back to back and it gets a bit much. It had me reaching for the remote control to change it as quickly as possible. A complete waste of my time watching this and a waste of 25 minutes when I could have been watching something cool.moreless
  • Wow, this is an...interesting..show. And as Draco says: "Oh my God, it's your son!"....

Wow, this is an...interesting..show. And as Draco says: "Oh my God, it's your son!". What, did I make Gadget Boy or something? I used to watch this when I was a little..err...midget. This show is okay, except the weird graphical glitch things, like the colour-changing eyes or something. It's funny to watch it though. And I'm running out of what else to say...err...don't watch the Gadget Boy's Adventures in History. Unless you really want/need to. No, really, don't. And I'm dry of words. Or whatever. I hate long reviews. It's like PHSE. "Write 300 words minimum on jobs." or something. YES! It's over!!!moreless
  • Sometimes it sucks, but it's usually okay. Course, it'll always be better than Neighbours! How can anyone watch that? It should be shot down.

Sometimes it sucks, but it's usually okay. Course, it'll always be better than Neighbours! How can anyone watch that? It should be shot down. Anyway, Gadget Boy and Heather it's weird at times, and usually quite unbelieveable, and sometimes everything is just too perfect, but it's cool as it is. Oh, and i'd NEVER EVER want to live there. Beach views and death on every corner!
