    I have never seen this show but i love battlerstar galactica 2003 and im watching the 78 series and thats pretty cool but is this one any good it comes out the 26th is it worth a rent or a buy?

    I figure that financially speaking it's worth the buy just because the set's so darn inexpensive (most online retailers have it for $19.99 or so), but your mileage may vary on whether you want to invest the time. If you were to invest the ten hours in G:1980, chances are you'd want nearly nine of them back once you were done. The series is pretty "meh" to begin with, gets truly abysmal around the time of the "Space Scouts" arc, and has a handful of okay moments during "The Night the Cylons Landed." However, the only episode in the series that stands up to repeat viewings is "The Return of Starbuck."
