The boy, Billy, runs into his house to tell his parents about the ship he has found. They don't believe him.
Mr. Brooks prepares Jamie for her interview with Dr. Mortinson. She heads for the meeting spot but is stopped by Troy and Dillon. They tell her to leave the doctor alone. The trio meets Dr. Mortinson. He feels this to be a very important meeting. They get in his car to take the meeting somewhere safer and more private.
Billy and his dad search the park for the ship. They eventually find it.
Xavier insists to Adama that the plan is foolish. He tells him that they have a tool, the time warp synthesizer, which they can use to speed up Earth's technology. He maintains that by going into the past and introducing advanced technology then, the Earth of today will be ready to accept them and protect them all from the Cylons. Adama disagrees because he feels it is just too dangerous and unpredictable.
Dillon drives Dr. Mortinson's car recklessly as they try to escape from the pursuing police, and Mr. Brooks in the news van. The whole escapade turns into a full-blown "kidnapping". The guys are recalled to the Galactica via a message from Adama. Jamie insists on going with them. They crash through a window, into a building and make good their escape out the back as the police arrive and rescue Dr. Mortinson.
Troy and Dillon get back to the ship and prepare to leave. Jamie demands that they take her with them and they acquiesce. As they launch, Billy and his dad try to convince a police officer that there really was a ship in the park. They see the ships flying off but the officer dismisses them as shooting stars.
Jamie stares in awe at the Earth behind her, then the Galactica ahead as they return.
They explain to her that they are not from Earth as they head to Adama's quarters. Adama is furious that they broke protocol by bringing her on board. He tells them that Xavier has commandeered a ship and gone back to 1944 to inject new technology. Jamie again demands to be brought with them on their mission to stop him.
Dr. Zee agrees that she can be useful with her knowledge of Earth history. She tells them about World War II and the Nazis. Adama agrees to let her go with them.
They launch their Vipers, then engage the time warp synthesizers and travel back in time. Their clothes turn white due to the magnetic stress loads.
Nazi fighter planes launch to investigate the two unknown aircraft. A Nazi commander monitors as their planes move to intercept the "American" planes.
The Nazi planes shoot at the Vipers but Troy and Dillon cannot return fire because they have to avoid changing history. They engage thrusters and fly away.
They land in a field and head off on foot to find Xavier. An American plane is shot down overhead and the pilot ejects. Jamie rushes to help him. The pilot confronts them, unsure about their allegiance. She tries to convince him that she is American but he doesn't believe her and runs off as Nazis approach but is caught. The white-clad trio rescue the pilot from the Nazis and ask him for information about the town where Xavier is. The pilot tells them that he is Major Stockton and he is on a joint American-British mission. Troy tells Stockton that he has no choice and must help them.
The four of them arrive in the Nazi town where they see Jews being herded onto trains bound for concentration camps. Jamie gives them a brief history lesson which Troy and Dillon find abhorrent. They spot a little girl trying to escape and rescue her.
They arrive at a safe-house and Stockton uses the secret password to get in. The resistance fighters in the hideout update him. Nazis arrive in town and begin searching every house. Troy and Dillon engage their cloaks, hiding the group. The Nazis enter and take the resistance fighters away. Troy and Dillon help Jamie and Stockton escape while invisible.
They ask Stockton for help to get to the test site where a rocket modified by Xavier is being tested. He agrees to take them.
Nazis prepare to launch the modified rocket. Troy, Dillon, Jamie, and Stockton arrive on site in Nazi uniforms and she teaches them about the V2 rocket.
A Nazi commander meets with Doctor Xavier, posing as a British scientist, in the bunker. They wait as the rocket begins it's launch.
