    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (6)

      • The motorcycles Troy and Dillon use apparently fire lasers similar to their hand held weapons as seen when they take on the Germans.

      • The fate of Xavier is left unclear after this episode. Although it is implied that Troy, Dillon and Jamie are going to travel through time once again to capture Xavier, the storyline is never picked up again during the rest of the series.

      • Goof: If the gravity on Earth is so much less than that which is on the Galactica (see later episodes) as to permit "superhuman" physical actions by "Galacticans," then why does Jamie exhibit no apparent difficulty while on the Galactica? Shouldn't she have been "weighted down" on board? There is no indication that the Galactica adjusted its gravity to match that of Earth.

      • Goof: Troy, Dillon and Jamie fly back to Galactica wearing their civilian clothes. In the original BSG episode "Lost Planet of the Gods (1)", Apollo says that without a special flight suit, the g-forces exerted by Viper flight are lethal. Now, Troy and Dillon may have been wearing their g-suits under their civvies, but certainly Jamie didn't have one. However, it's possible the suits would only be necessary if the Vipers engaged in combat maneuvers. In a stable flight, perhaps they would not be any more necessary than someone on a shuttle flight.

      • Goof: On the run from Nazis, Jamie suddenly declares the Jews need not worry about their German oppressors anymore because it just turned midnight on June 6. Sure enough, the Germans began to withdraw, and their commander proclaims the allies have invaded Normandy. Actually, the landing didn't happen until after 6 a.m., several hours after these soldiers seem to know about it.

      • Goof: After Willy discovers the vipers in the park, his father calls in the military, who want to keep the existence of the Vipers a secret. Then a school bus shows up to take Willy to school. Since when would a school bus pick up one kid in the middle of a large park with a dirt road? Even more astounding is that the school bus drives within 50 feet of the Vipers, which the military wants to keep a secret. The Vipers are in plain sight for the bus driver to see, yet the military personnel don't seem to care.

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Dillon: (seeing Jamie seated behind him in the Viper cockpit) Jamie, get out of here!
Jamie: Are you crazy? Those men out there have guns and they don't exactly like what you're doing!

      • Xavier: If you attempt to stop what I've started here, I'll expose you!
Troy: You'll have to find me first.

    • NOTES (2)

      • Goof: Since the uniforms of Troy, Dillon, and Jamie turned white as a side effect of time travel, it isn't really clear why another trip through time would change them back to normal color.

      • Goof:
Although Troy, Dillon, and Jamie set out to keep Xavier from changing history, they themselves clearly altered history themselves by helping a number of Jews escape from the Nazis.
