  • This is where the concept of Cylon androids was REALLY born!

This two-parter was part of a four-hour "Best of..." marathon, on SCIFI Channel, yesterday. And, I loved it, just as much as I did the first time I saw it!

The funniest part was the running gag where everybody used the same sound effect to describe Andromus' bodyguard to the cops.

"And, it had this one red eye that kept going back and forth. SHOOM! SHOOM! SHOOM! SHOOM!"

Almost as funny was Kent McCord (Crichton's Dad on FARSCAPE) and Barry Van Dyke (son of Dick) pursuing Andromus and his bodyguard in white tuxedos. Thank the Lords of Kobol it was Halloween!

Most important of all, of course, was their prevention of the broadcast that would've betrayed Earth's location to the Cylons. If only the Good Guys could have been just as effective in preventing "BSG: The Remake!"moreless

    • Goof: Troy and Dillon disguise themselves in white tuxedos and are thrust on stage during a musical where they pick up an actress and turn invisible. When they are visible, she is sitting on their shoulders with her legs sticking out in front of her. After they turn invisible, her legs point straight down as if she is being hoisted by wires. Apparently, no one reminded the actress she should hold her legs out as if she was sitting on something. Edit

    ADD NOTES
    • Nitpick: When the police are chasing Troy and Dillon, still in the stolen police car, through the streets of New York, Troy and Dillon get frustrated that they can't lose the police cars following them. Perhaps they should have tried turning off their police lights and sirens. Obviously they knew how to do it since they did it in the previous episode, and since it was night it would have made it easier for their police car to blend into traffic. Edit

    • Andromus: (to Wolfman Jack) Some day, you Earth people will come to understand just how unimportant you are to running a truly efficient society. Edit
    • Andromus: What have you done? The machine... turn off that machine! (red waves of energy shoot from Andromus' hands and strike the microwave... causing it to explode) Norman: (seeing the resuting fire) Arnie, what did you put in your meatballs? Gunpowder? Edit
