When Happy Chapman takes Odie into the lift, they are going up instead of down
Garfield was trying to tell jon the TV was showimg Odie, and he says 'C'mon, hurry up, ya musn't miss it! And then Jon replies 'Hold on Garfield, I 'll be right there!' (or something like that) Jon can't understand Garfield, so how did he know Garfield says 'C'mon, hurry up, ya can't miss it!'?
Garfield almost causes a head-on collisioun. Why isn't anyone watching the moniters? In fact, when Garfield walks out, no-one actually looks at the trains (they just walk along!)
In Nickelodeon Magazine's Garfield ad, they can't decide whether it's spelled "Theatre" or "Theater".
Garfield cannot actually talk. He just thinks and you can hear what he's thinking.
Two goofs:
1. In the movie, Nermal talks with a boy-like voice when he talks with a girl-like voice in the television series. 2. Also, Arlene is gray instead of pink.
The reason Nermal talks like a boy is because he IS a boy in the comics and even refers to himself as a boy from time to time on the TV show. The reason he has a girlish voice on
the TV series is because fox executives thought that a girlish voice would sound cuter than a boy's.
Response to 4th goof: Garfield was also had a look of panic and and was trying to rush Jon to the TV. Plus, there's plenty of times during the TV series where Jon seems to hear Garfield.
garfield: oh, look who's come to watch this, THE MAIL MAN!
*dogs look away*
garfield: YOUR SO STUPID!!!!!
Jon: A mouse! Get 'em Garfield!
Garfield: Get 'em, Jon.
Garfield: Whoa, whoa baby!
The movie was released on DVD & VHS on October 19th, 2004.
Nick Magazine Prize Code: RESCUEODIE (You got a Garfield screensaver).
Response to Shaggy: That was actually a scene in Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
Rumors say that in the movie, it will have the cartoon Shaggy (From Scooby-Doo) arguing with his live-action counterpart about how he portrayed him in the movies. Yes, movies, by the time this comes out, there will be 2.
Even though they filmed on the Universal lot, this is a 20th Century Fox film.
Filming started on March 8 2003 on the Universal lot.
Character Design: Garfield
Garfield immitates Elvis Presley in this movie.
