Jon's back pocket disappears after Garfield takes the black book out of it.
(Jon looks through the little black book) Jon: Let's see, Al's Pizza Delivery, Chow Mein City, Ham Sandwiches 'R' Us. Garfield This your little black book! (He tosses it to Garfield) Garfield: Hey, you keep the numbers you need, I keep the numbers I need, okay?
Jon: (Singing) Beautiful Heather, you are the one. Go out with me and, we'll have lots of fun! Travel to Paris. London or Rome. If I can somehow leave my orange cat at home!
Garfield: (episode's last lines) I wish Jon would learn to make up his mind.
[Answering machine]
Jon: Hello, this is Jon Arbuckle. (Garfield, stop doing that.) I--I can't come to the--((Odie whimpering) No, take Odie out of there!)--can't come to the phone right now. Leave your message. (Garfield!)
Garfield: People who sing in the showers should be dragged out into the street and shot. Nope, too good for 'em. (Odie walks in) Don't worry, boy. Two more choruses and I'm calling the humane society.
First (and sole) appearance of Jon's date Heather, as well as her younger brother Michael (referred to on-screen as Mike). This is also the sole episode to feature Garfield and Jon's little black books.
One of the eateries Garfield frequents is called Ham Sandwiches R Us.
Heather's apartment building is known as Bel-Air Arms.
