  • Garfield is tempted by his other favorite love t.v. (His first being food obviously) Jon bets he can't go without it for a day

the show stars off with Garfield watching golf on t.v. and he can't stand it. he looks for the remote control and concludes that it is too far away for it to be worth the trip and settles for watching boring golf. The picture gets fuzzy thanks to Jon who is vacuuming the house. Garfield goes to unplug it and hint to Jon that he needs to use a broom instead. Jon makes a bet with him that if he can go without t.v. for 24 hours then he'll switch to the broom. Garfield agrees but almost instantly he is tempted to watch because so many of his favorite shows and movies are on. The temptation continues throughout the night with the t.v. actually coming to life and trying to persuade him to turn it on. Garfield finally gets through the night and ultimately wins the bet but becuse he was so spooked by the t.v. coming alive he can wait for the t.v. to be fixed because it's broken.moreless
  • Video Victim is one of best of the least good season 2

    "Perfect"
That's surely the very BEST Garfield episode of the season 2. The deal that Jon and Garfield whole not watching TV during 24 hours is a classic thing, but absolutely effective. I believe also the great and only performance of the TV house to speak, forcing Garfield to watch him, but Garfield know that he's lost his deal if he's watch. Regardless, Video Victim is a superb episode of the season 2 unfortunately ending horriblifingmoreless
