Gargantua is a 1998 television movie starring Adam Baldwin as Jack
Ellway, a marine biologist who travels to Polynesia with his son,
Brandon (Emile Hirsch). While studying the effects of seismic activity
on the marine life near the island of Malau, Jack and Brandon find
themselves in the midst of a mystery. Brandon also discovers a unique
sea creature that can walk on land. Julie Carmen plays Dr. Alyson Hart
and Bobby Hosea plays the role of Colonel Wayne. Gargantua received a
nomination for an ALMA Award in 1999.
