  • We finally learn how the Manhatten clan are getting along without Goliath.

Artistically there was a lot of mistakes made in this ep, mainly the coloring of the mutates, nothing to make this ep bad, but enough to kinda make you think... Maybe not the best one that was made. However I loved it because it showed what was going on with the clan, it put more focus on Brooklyn and his role as Second in Command - he has to lead the clan now, but he doesn't feel ready himself. It's not exactly the same for Talon, who doesn't feel that anyone needs to be the leader for his 'clan', though Fang disagrees and manages to bully two humans and also Claw into his group.

The ep was about the role of leadership, and finally Brooklyn has... Grown up, he knows that Maggie has feelings for Talon, and I think he is finally on the road to letting go.moreless
  • Goliath, Elisa, & Bronx are missing. What will the Manhattan clan do? At the same time, Fang is becoming restless of taking orders from Talon. Can the Manhattan clan help the people & gargoyles of the Labyrinth without Goliath's leadership?moreless

I really like this episode because we the viewers get to see what the Manhattan clan is doing in the absence of Goliath, Elisa, & Bronx. They have no idea where they went. They check everywhere the can & question anyone who might know what happened to them, but nothing can be found out. This brings up the subject of leadership. With Goliath gone, his second in command must take over, only Brooklyn doesn't want to be leader just yet. He avoids the role of leadership as much as he can in this episode. Another character trying to avoid leadership is Talon. He and Fang are at odds with each other in the Labyrinth and worse comes to worse when Fang takes over, imprisoning Talon. The Manhattan clan is told of this by Maggie the Cat and Brooklyn finally comes into his own by taking up the cause and leading the clan into a fight against Fang. In the end, both Talon and Brooklyn acknowledge their leadership roles. All in all, this is one of my favorite episodes during the World Tour since it does deal with the gargoyles left behind that didn't go on the tour. It also establishes Fang as a "bad guy" for his up coming role in the series "Bad Guys".moreless
