  • Goliath & Hudson are attacked by Wolf & Hakon. At the same time, Vinnie relives all the times the Gargoyles have made him suffer in one way or another. He has a gun specially made, names it Mr. Carter, & hunts down Goliath to take his revenge.moreless

    6.1
One of my least favorite episodes. I hated the whole fight going on between Wolf, Hakon, Goliath, & Hudson. It was like they were trying to redo "Long Way to Morning", but ended up making a terrible version of it. The only thing I like about this episode is Vinnie and his gun Mr. Carter. He is VERY funny. In fact, I fast-forward through the parts with Hakon & Wolf fighting Goliath & Hudson and only watch the parts with Vinnie in them. I almost wish that there had been another episode with Vinnie in it so that I could watch that one and discard this one all together. The end where Vinnie creams Goliath is so funny, & I like that he leaves humming the Gargoyles' theme song. What a great guy.moreless

  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (7)

  • NOTES (6)

    • This episode marks the final appearances of Wolf and Hakon.

    • The subplot involving Vinnie was to have been a separate episode, but was connected to this after "Hunter's Moon" was changed from a Direct To Video to a 3 part episode.

    • After taking his revenge on Goliath, Vinnie turns around happily walking off humming the very detectable Gargoyles theme song.

    • Another background recurring character, "the Jogger," goes past as Vinnie is hauling his weapon down the street. Like Vinnie, the Jogger has made minor background appearances in several episodes.

    • Elisa, Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway, and Angela don't appear in this episode. This is because this episode takes place at about the same time as their adventure in the following episode, "Turf."

    • Clancy Brown (a film heavy possibly most famous for playing the Kurgan in the first Highlander film) has always done the voices of both Wolf and Hakon while still managing to give each character a unique personality. The writers apparently decided to do something with the coincidence here.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Mr. Acme's name is a play on the Acme Company featured in the Wile E Coyote/Roadrunner Looney Tunes shorts. In his quest to catch the Roadrunner, Wile E would often order and build elaborate devices from the Acme Company, only for them to always backfire and cause him injury.
