Sausagefest

The sausagefest jokes became a little forced over time. I mean, are we honestly supposed to expect that Curtis had no idea what he was saying when he kept referring to sausage?

That being said, still another great episode from one of TV's most consistent comedies, Gary Unmarried. Jay Mohr did an excellent job channeling his inner Kevin James with some great offbeat humor and great responses to things his peers embarrassinglty said.

The two actors (Ryan Malgarini and Kathryn Newton) who play the kids of Gary and Allison on the show also do a good job as well. Good child actors are hard to come by but these get how to be funny and to actually mean their lines, not just read them.moreless

This was yet another brilliant masterpiece from the folks at Gary Unmarried. I mean, you can really ask anything more on a Wednesday night. Some good old dude stuff and some old school jokes are just about enough to make you laugh. Every subpart of this episode was really funny. You got Curtis still a little slow on getting the sausage-fest pun. You got Allison telling time and again to Gary that their sex life sucked in the meanest way possible. And you got Gary himself in lingerie who made me laugh even more than when I laughed watching Charlie and Alan with swapped underwear.

I don't understand why people are talking about cancellation. The show is brilliant, viewership is around 7 million, and is certainly the best comedy on Wednesday.moreless
