    This is precisely why you could not pay me to go camping in California. I can understand a fishing license to help pay for fish and game to stock the river, but a "fire permit"? I've lived in several states and am an avid camper, California has been the only state that ever required a permit to light a campfire.

    In fact, I'm surprised they didn't get pulled over in the camper due to the advertisement on the side being too offensive. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to transfer in my job and escape that state and it's restrictions and messed up laws.moreless

    Ok so Dad is a wimp when it comes to nature and this is why he is a rich Rock star and not a Forest Ranger. What made this episode great was the addition of a snake and a bear. I'm pretty sure the snake was a setup by the producers but the bear probably wasn't. It's fun to see how spoiled they have become. Shannon is a real nature girl. I would have never suspected that of her. The girls can fish. The couch commentaries on this episode were really good. I want to see them go to the beach, go surfing and stuff like that. Next summer they should go to South Padre Island.moreless
