OMG I love this show. I was so excited to hear it was coming back. Gene and Shannon are hysterical. Nick is fantasticly funny. Sophy just gets prettier and funnier. "Auntie" is an added bonus. This show is so funny. From Gene answering his cell in the operating room. To the expression Nick's face at possibility of getting a baby brother or sister. The missing costume along with the intimated Assistant Manager. The looked on Gene's face when asked to be a sperm donor was priceless. I don't know what's funnier, Gene's scheme's to make money or the fact that kids of the lead singer of KISS are normal. Can't wait until next week.moreless
  • ("Under the Knife?")Paul Stanley appearance, TRL, lost costume, intimidating Gene, fertile Shannon

This episode ("Under the Knife?") fits most of what is going on with the show and what Gene is about! Is Shannon pregnant?, Will Gene ever get a facelift with a phone in his sock? What happens if you can't find your costume within one hour of being on MTV?! Should I be ashamed thinking naughty thoughts about Sophie? This show was too smooth to not be staged in at least one area. Even if it was set up, the show is entertaining and lets us see Gene not being put on a stage/pedistal by his family. They show respect to the man, but put him in his place.moreless
  • A continuation of the old season, instead the start of a new season.

    "Great"
Usually with premiere's, I most definitely expect some of the old that made me love the previous season but also some type of bang that kinda states "This is the new season"!!! I guess the big bang was suppose to whether Shannon was pregnant or not, but it was discovered that she wasn't I mean that kinda fell flat. It felt like they were simply continuing to show episodes from the first season which isn't the worst thing in the world because the first season was good, but I was expecting some new angle or something new, but it is a person's life we're watching so if a star actually turns out to be "normal" then who am I to complain. Overall, I liked the new shows and will continue to watch for the rest of the season because I still can't get over the fact just how normal they are. But stay tuned people, this is still a family not to be missed.moreless
